Can you imagine trying to get your clans server populated with Sogek1nk in the server. No one likes to get owned and most don't stay long. I like playing against him as it has improved my game 10 fold.

We had a similar problem in my old clan. We had a couple of Uber-fraggers who would depopulate the server because they'd decimate everyone they went up against.

I'll add my .02....the shotguns do not suck! They are fine weapons and, as previously mentioned, in the right hands they can be very deadly. It's my weapon of choice. It appears you (OP) needs to put in a little more work with it.

What about just having the best players in a clan evenly distributed on each team. I'm no expert at COD servers, so would autobalance screw that up pretty fast? Is there anyway to stop people with you clan tag from getting switched?

I believe I played against that soge guy lol! In all of my playing CoD4, I only remember one person doing well, insanely well with a shottie and his name was soge. I don't remember the tags, but it must be him since and like I said, I still remember the name lol.

LOL it was him.
He gets banned from most servers he plays on as many think he hacks. I assure you he dosen't, I have checked him out many times with SS etc. We even had a member watch him play on his PC and our member confirmed that he is that damn good. lol

IMO its completely fine. Kills so easily close range... just like a shotgun should. Doesnt require ANY aiming. If anything its overpowered a tiny bit.
