Ranks don't matter, I have a few accounts and I am pretty often accused of hacking.

Yea, i told him exactley what i said. I told him I have over 9 hours in Jets plus whatever i had in the other account. He didnt say much after that. Besides, he was on my team lol. But as for helicopters, I couldnt fly one to save my life. The closest i got was a blackhawk in Oman, i flew it to a flag and it rolled over in air so i jumped out and parachuted down lol.

Cool, 590 more hours and you will catch up.:laugh: Best advice, watch Skaggy's video. It is one of the best instructional videos I have seen. And don't discount the strength of the F35. It's main gun can tear up a J10 pretty quickly and if used properly it is relatively easy to go 50-0 on wake/oman/dragon unless there is a really good J10 pilot. Dalian is just too small to get those kind of scores with it but if it is allowed it is easiest to kill a J10 over its own runway. Follow it in and gun it in the cockpit.

It really depends who is in the j10. But on servers where you cant attack the uncap (wake) the f35's can do strato attacks without to much problem. Flare and climb to a flat spin. Regain control and go for ammo, if the j10 chases you he will be in a flat spin too. If you play single player and get behind an enemy jet (bot) watch what he does to avoid you. It works quite well vs humans.

If your misles aren't hitting your targets it's becuae your approach is wrong.
It takes practice to know when to realease and when to hold. Lead the target abit if possible.

Yea, im getting better. Although I just got kicked from KoF server for base raping the UNCAP and disrespecting...lol. In Kubra they can attack the Intake which is our airfield, but we cannot attack their airfield as they take off? Its totally not fair. So i hopped in the J10 on the next map (Dragon Valley) and shot their planes as they took off. One plan i didnt know had a person in it (just shooting to damage them) and he whined. Then i was shot at by some AA somehwere and we had all the flags so it must have been the Essex. So i bombed the heck out of that and got about 3 people. Then they started whining and when i brought up the fact that our airbase in DV and KD were airfields and should let us get up in the air they said "oh, well they arent UNCAP." What a load of BS. So i got mouthy (yes i am immature that way when i get mad sometimes) and started talking smack and one guy in particular made me mad. He bombed my hangar and killed me but the moment i kill in on the carrier he whines. So i told them something very explicit and got kicked.

ya some servers protect the uncap with the evil admin banzor cannon.
I just follow the rules wherever I am. It's still a game. You join thier server you agree to play by thier rules and not comment on them. Thats the way they see it anyways.

I know but i was just getting so pi**ed off at being bombed at my airport and then not being able to on theirs....

I know it can suck being bombed into the ground over and over when all you want to do is get in the air. BUT. It is so satisfying chasing the F-35's back to the carrier once you do get up there. Most servers allow you to engage aircraft over the uncap if you chase them into it.

Oh yea that does feel good. And as far as I know they didnt have a problem with me chasing them back because I have already engaged them. But, in Kubra Dam, i followed a the bomber back and i wasnt very far away, but if he would have just looked behind him he would have saw me. I had my bombsights on and was waiting for him to clear the Uncap. He was flying in a straight line....as soon as we were away from the Uncap...BEEEP Lock and wooosh...wooosh....wooosh (3 missles) BOOM DEAD. It felt great.

But i also told the guy to map a Rear View and Fly By key to his joystick.

I never change from cockpit except to clear my view. Also, as a token sportsmanship, I will tag the jet as he flys over his runway but I won't fire until he panics. Sometimes I will even chase him with missiles locked for extended periods of time without actually shooting. Eventually he realizes that he will never evade me and gives up flying. (at least while im in the air)

Oh, i use a joystick and constantly do a fly by view to check my "6"

I think it's funny most people haven't noticed how pings effect missile hit detections. You have to watch both pilots' pings. After watching that for a few weeks, you will start to see certain moves will work against higher ping players, but lower pings will always hit, etc.

It's quite consistent.

And when I say higher/lower pings, it's relative mostly. a 60ms ping aginst a 40ms ping is the same as a 40ms vs a 20ms ping.

One big exception: The guy with a 120-150ms ping will have his missiles hit anyone <70ms almost all the time, even through flares. I think it's from the server trying to make up the missing time at those speeds.

Hi guys, I have some questions about piloting jet . I used to fly BF1942 on mouse, but when I started play BF2 I´ve decided to buy joytick. Two main problems-1 I dont know how to use freelook with joystick(I used it alot on mouse) and second- I dont how to spot enemy flight( there is no time for touching mouse) I´ve heard about makro, but I dont know whats that and how to set it. playing with joystick is more comfortable but less precise. think.
