I put my filter to show me full servers and I get about 12000. Maybe there are thousands empty, but there should be a few for you to play on.

I have a number of filters on. Also, I have seen where refreshing the list a number of times in a few seconds will also cause the count to rise or drop.

As of this post, there are 1970 servers that have at least 1 player in them. 803 of them have at least 10 players in them.

The problem with this game is its virtually perfect right out of the box. So there's really no need to update and considering the just one free Winter Crash map, no real reason to update.

Plus unlike EA's BF2 servers CoD4 servers aren't required to update to stay current with a master server list.
