I think I'm gonna stay out of the game market for a while. I barely have enough time as it is. Getting more games just makes things worse.

We all know it tends to be more like 4 hours gaming, 5mins break for a drink and a p*ss, then back into the game though :P.

Some of us do have other things to do besides gaming.

well GTA4 was all the talk of the day here around school, 3 friends of mine on 360 all got online and went on driveby's. they all said it was one of the best games they have ever played, I will try this weekend to go over to someones house to play..

I know a couple of people who have PS3's and stayed home waiting for it to come in the post so they could play it staright away...My friend was gutted..he couldnt stay home..And the postman didnt come in the morning....Now since ive gotten home he hasnt been on xfire once...He obviously hasnt stopped playing it

I actually have 2 copies..

First one i bought yesterday morning, and the second one came to my house today. But im gonna send that one back...

I clocked some 12 last night with the game..

Graphics are awesome... And im playing with this old TV. So i have no idea how the game looks with LCD or Plasma TV...

Vehicles...

There is lot of them. From Ferrari lookin Turismo to Escalade looking *insert name here*(forgot the name). And from these all rust eaten, no paint job in them looking cars to yellow cabs... The damage modeling is just awesome, you really have your hands full when there is 3 stars, you crash your car and the engine dies...

Everyone handles bit differently from another so i really don't wanna type specifics... But you'll get the idea... But one thing worth mentioning is that if you burn rubber enough, you can see the tires explode..

Weapons, i have gotten my hands on to Glock, Uzi, AK-47, shotguns, granades, Molotov Coctails, knifes, baseball bats and the M40(sniper rifle). And you can tell what gun that is when you hear them... I mean the sounds are awesome.. And the recoil what every machine gun has, really makes you control your fire.

The blindfire and pop up and shoot from cover works like charm, i haven't had any problems with it... Just hit R1(im playing on PS3) and Niko rolls to nearest cover...

AI...

Cab drivers in this game is as i have heard that they are in NY. You hop in to one, set location and tell the driver to hurry. And you can watch him drive like a lunatic..

The people on the streets. You bumb into someone and they spill their coffee. It's fight on, but sometimes they know not to mess with you after you kick them to the nuts..

In firefights, the enemies take cover, blindfire and pop up and shoot. So there isn't much to say about that...

Ragdoll is just amazing, like usually...

It's really funny to see people bouncing from the hood of your car, to the windshield to the roof and over the car...

Or when you jack a car, wait a bit, and the owner comes to get it back. You floor the gas when he open the door. And watch how the (ex)owner get dragged down the street in the door handle...

That's all i can think of right now. Im heading to downtown to get my drink on with my buddies. So talk to ya guys later...

if you have to hotwire a car to escape you tap the shoulder buttons and your away, instead of just getting into it and being able to drive instantly, theres a little more effort involved.

if you have to hotwire a car to escape you tap the shoulder buttons and your away, instead of just getting into it and being able to drive instantly, theres a little more effort involved.

Originally thats what I did but then I thought I'd give it a try without taping the shoulder buttons and see what happens. I just give it gas when I get in and it starts pretty darn quick.

Like StoneCold said, the graphics are amazing, the interface between you and the AI is damn good and the vehicles are top notch. I think I've seen a Challenger, Camaro, Escalade, Corvette, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Avalanche, Mustang, WRX, BMW, Impala...etc

Game is top notch! I'm now on 13 hours into the game and have 3 Islands accessable. Time Square is frickin sweet! Since I've been to Time Square many times, it's cool driving down it in the game :thumbsup:

My mate has it and seriously flying that police helicopter is one of the coolest things in the game, most awesomething is when you land it and slam it 10 times on each side of the tail with your bat and ram it into a building it fall of :OOOOOOOOO omg hehe i wanna play it 24/7 now.
