I am curious to see how this game turns out, it looks promising.
But lets face it, this is EA so there is always going to be some catch, some bottom line.
After all, nothing is for free.

I know its way way way early to say anything, but just for fun I figured I throw out one way this could end up.
All the cool items like that skelly mask would have to be bought with real money.
That is unless I am interpreting this concept wrong, which may be the case but I do not think so.
But at the end of the day it will be a free game to play, and you cant beat that.
