ok im thinking of getting one of thease two games. they both look alot of fun to me. in WiC i like how u can destory stuff with nukes and things hehe. kinda reminds me of StarCraft kind of i also seen things in CoH i liked also.
i notice i can get the CoH Gold Edition for a decent price an it comes with the exapnsion pack.

how is the online game play for thease two games are there alot of servers out there??

anyway tonight or tomorrow im thinking of getting one of the two games. but please let me know what you all think

Dude i bought WiC TWICE first i played for like a day got bored and returned it, then my mates we like "u nub its a great game and all" so i bought it again, and AGAIN i was bored out of the SP and skirmish i am sure MP is quite fun though. Look i am not trying to be biased here this is just one point of view, my point of view (no offense WiC fans).

I bought CoH Gold Edition played it absolutely fell for it i loved it, when i went back home for Xmas i left it with my bro to play it (believe it or not i showed my bro WiC he left it in less than a couple of hours) as i returned back to the UK for Uni i really missed the game so i went on to amazon and ordered it again and now i play constant lan when i go back home with my brother, btw the game play imho is quite good, challenging for one, and skirmish is dead amazing! sometimes it can get hard which gives the game quite a feel to it i vote for CoH.

I think you're quickly done with wic, just isn't enough content and complexity in it. You can have a lot more fun with coh.

COH is more diverse with a massive range of units.
WiC is pure graphical genius. And its modern..

Depends what you want to play.If you want pure heart thumping online action then WIC is the easy choice.Wic is considered a real time tactic,as you dont build any bases or anything,you just go out and kill enemies.

Do you just want to play some singleplayer and slaughter enemy ai?Then COH.COH's multiplayer is not very friendly at all though I think.Last time i went online there was around 8 games being played.

Both are great games,just depends what you want to do.

Actually, Stephen has a point, COH is an Asian friendly RTS if you know what I mean. (****e load of units, ****e load of variables, I.E. Warcraft style).
There are 100's of servers at any given point here.

WiC definitely has a more army general like feel to it, whereas COH is a more individual unit command, where each unit counts so micro and macro management is key. WiC is macro management along with severe resource management (the command points thing for arty/a10 stuff)

i have both WiC and CoH, and i like CoH more, although i do like WiC, i feel asthough it hasnt got any depth in combat, or any diversity, where as CoH doesnt restrict you to any specific troops, and more depth in combat.
when i get money im going to get CoH:OF

same here got bored of WiC fast, i mean don't get me wrong here guys, back at senior year in High school i used to watch trailers every day about this game (WiC) i couldn't wait for it, i was even afraid that i would have to upgrade my comp (no not the one in the sig) but yeah after all my anticipation of the game i felt disappointed by game play, gfx is by all means t3h shex, although CoH may not share the same level of gfx as to that of WiC it still holds strong details of units, so strong to the part where u can see the bullet chamber in the rifles and the bolts on the tanks, explosions are amazing and depth of realism is quite impressive imho, such as tanks losing their main gun or engine.

And how troops take garrison in buildings and how tanks put holes into those buildings very nice, oh and dude i would try the demos first before taking anyones word though. (if u are however gunna get CoH get the gold edition u mentioned i have that bought it for like 17 quid its a good save for a great game)

well i was looking around at the games an i noticed a price drop in one ive been wanting for a while. U3 i bought this cause id like to play with the unreal engine some modding an stuff. some day well went online an there was one server on an i couldnt even conenct to it heh.

but out of thease 2 games i dunno im more into hardcore multiplayer type of games. where there are alot of action and full like cod4 even though im sick of it heh. id try an mod for cod 4 to make some changes an caln members whould raise a stink cause it unranks the server. and this an that so i dunno i mean the online play of wic an coh they got alot of people going on or ?

well here in the UK i don't see much severs but when i return back home for Xmas, easter, and summer there are quite some servers on CoH about WiC i am sure that the servers are quite populated.
