I always just put it in its own little folder, then delete it afterwards. Cuts down on clutter. And since the file is so small, it only takes a second to download it again if you have to manually update PB again. Deleting it has never caused any issues for me, as the updates go into the pb folder of the games you update.

install bf2 then patch 1.41 install sf re patch 1.41 install ef repatch 1/41 install af repatch // thats what i did works fine

Whenever i play bf2 my computer gets into a deeep freeze (cant move or do anything AT ALL) and i get a sound loop, my temperature max when playing bf2 was 42c, im not patched but i play singleplayer

80gb hd
512mb ram
ati radeon 9100 igp pro (or agp pro)

Did it work in the past? If so, what changed? You are at the bare minimum for playing the game so the slightest problem could break it for you. Make sure you have absolutely nothing else running while running BF2.

And you really should have posted in the tech support forum.

No, I used to play on another computer (which was my cousins) and now im on another computer (which again is my cousins(another cousin)), I know i am at the minimum but I am getting good fps, somewhat around 25-35 on this crappy old card, I have ABSOLUTELY nothing running in the background, sometimes i let me ATI program run but it dosnt make a differance..

And yes, I did post this in the tech support forum.. not getting much replies at all there :/

i said this before! u and gur gur should both join an empty server and have a snipe off the victor takes the avi and sig and the defeated will be remembered as the failure

welcome to the magical world of BF2 random ****ed-up-ness.

I swear BF2 and 2142 are totally random and the game dictates whether it wants to play else it will kick you and disconnect and give you a load of issue yet the next day perfect, then more issues...
