with recording sound i realize that it uses my microphone as an input but that isnt very useful caus its next to my mouth and also i tried recording sound one time having the mic right next to the speakers and it was still really quiet. i have integrated audio is there another way to record sound?

450?!
i have mine at 800 to 1200dpi and dont move anywhere as fast as that???
I agree that your sensitivity is rather high... But thats not the point of the video.
[review stuffs] IMO, the music was a bit bland. If you had put in the in-game sounds it wouldn't have been too bad, but as it is the music is just not enough to keep me wanting to watch. Most frag video makers don't realize it (or at least it would seem), but nobody wants to see a video that simply consists of "1337 PWN4G3!!111", unless its something truly unique. What they (or at least I) want to see is some killing, synced with good music. Even if the music isn't my style, as long as it is synced properly it will be appealing both to the eye and to the ear (unless you use something like screamo or rap :|:). Most of the frag videos I have watched in the past few days (Yours and MFA's) were just the "1337 PWN4G3"... It looked as if all the clips were thrown in one after the other without a second thought. I know, you worked hard and are probably quite proud of your videos (I was VERY proud of my first few, even though they SUCKED), however as my skill level (with video editing) has increased, so have my standards for rating them :p
Back on topic. What I suggest for improvement (in order of importance):
1: TRANSITIONS! At THE VERY LEAST, use a basic fade transition.
2: In-Game Sound. To record in game sound, open up FRAPs. Hit the "Movies" tab, and right to the left of "Record Sound" make sure the bubble that says "Detect Best Sound Input" is selected. It will more than likely be using "Stereo Mix" or "What U Hear".
3: SYNC the clips to the music.
thanks for the comments. i actually like first person alot more because its alot easier and faster to puta video together. honestly with the transitions i would try to put some in and stuff but thats not really my taste.
I tried looking at recording sound but is there a way for you to change it so its not your microphone? caus i have integrated audio and i tack it to detect best input and it just has "microphone" thats it. and i tried to record sound from the speakers with it and you can hear anything. it records my voice though which is odd.
Click on the little speaker in your task bar, hit "Options -> Properties" then check the bubble for "Recording" and click OK. Look for an option such as "What U Hear" or "Stereo" and check the box under it... If you can't find anything like the two mentioned, take a screenshot and post it so I can find out what you need to do.
ok i click on the speaker on the taskbar and go options>properties.
Mixer device: sigmaTel Audio. this is the only device
i adjust volume for "recording"
Show the following volume controls:
/ Line in
/ Rear Mic
/ Microphone
there is a bubble for "other" but it is unselectable, gray.
that is it.
do i need a soundcard? i have one lying on my dresser because i bought it, used it but i had to plug my headphones into the back of the computer so i pulled it out the mobo.
i dont really want to put it in but if you have another idea id want to hear
anyways im going to bed ill see ya tommorrow maybe
Hrmmm... Its not a sound card per se that is making it so you can't record what you hear, its bad drivers/software for your current (integrated) sound card. Sadly I think the only way to fix this is to get a sound card that has some decent drivers... Otherwise you have to keep doing it how you are currently doing it.
