*Quick tip, I have found the following changes to help hit detection, as well as help you
    jump higher.

    /com_maxfps 125
    /cl_maxpackets 100
    /cl_packetdup 2
where can I find the folder for those changes

In regular, yes. Unless it is against a target using juggernaut. I'm sorry, but I'm not really good with "hiding" - specifically in grassy areas. All I can really remember from those days is the darker the better.

I may continue to update the guide to provide requested information if enough people are interested.

If you do them in console make sure you put seta before it so the change is written to your config file.

                /seta com_maxfps 125 and so on.

the hit boxes in this game are far too out of wack to have any sort of guide for.. two tips!

                  constantly move!

                  and

the left mouse button is fire!

other than that theres not much anyone could tell you to make u a better sniper in this particular game...

Not sure what you're talking about - the hit boxes (although I don't believe it uses actually hit boxes) are amazing in CoD. There are still a few registration problems with the sniper rifle, but there's much to be learned aside from "left click to fire."

That's like saying that left clicking is the only strategy used in the game, when in truth that is far from it.

While sniping may be rather limited in this game, if you take the time to discover new techniques there's a lot out more to sniping than you may think. Drag shots, jump shots, etc. Are way more advanced that simply left clicking.

Hmm well i have had HEAPs of shots where i have missed by up to a foot at a target and for some reason got a headshot.. othertimes i have been about 20 feet away aiming directly onto an unsuspecting targets head and missed..

and u can't teach someone technique they develope there own after hours of play.

Then what are the point of any guides? Look, if you don't find it helpful, then just say so - but don't be so ignorant as to say there is nothing to be learned from guides, even if it's just another point of view.

Yes, you can't essentially "teach" people how to snipe or play, it's a learned trait- as you would have read if you actually read the guide (check Author's note). That just gave all your credibility in your posts away, as you didn't even read the first section of the guide.

From reading your posts, it doesn't appear as those you have either taken the time to even read my guide, nor have you given sniping the patience required to become better. If you're not going to even read the guide, please just post on different threads.

Finally, you say that there are only 2 things to be learned, yet in your posts you seem to condone sniping... ironic much?

heh i never said you guide was bad.. it's actually quite decent.. however like i said in my original post..the hitboxes or whatever the game may use to distinguish a hit or miss seem to be off.. nearly every match i kill a few people without even hitting them.. its hard to have a rock solid guide that when it comes down to the shot u pretty much just have to spray around ur target.. HOWEVER i can only play on australia servers obviously.. and alot of the people on them have around 200+ ping.. so wether or not lag delay plays a role in the poor hit registery i have been experiencing im not sure..

none the less i did have a read through ur guide and although alot of it is common sense there are a few usefull tips in there and im sorry if i had offended u with my coments.. my anguish was directed at the game...

Hit detection is generally very good when playing on low-ping servers/players.

What you're describing is most likely the "anti-lag" function. It's designed to help high-ping players, but often ends up frustrating everyone. Looking at your location, Australia, it's very likely that's what you're experiencing.

ohhh theres only like three decent servers i can play on.. all the others i get killed before i even see my target due to lag.. its extremely frustrating
