Assassins Creed for PC

So it came out for PC. I love sneaky games, so I thought I would get it. Its pretty good. Good graphics and story line. A lot of fun controlling the assassin.

Im not too good with the controls yet, however. I was walking through this village in the beginning and saw a guy with a purse (Its 1197AD, I guess they did that then) so I figure I will try my hand at pickpocketing. I focus on the guy and go up to him. Hit the button to steal the purse but instead stabbed him in the head with my hidden knife. Next thing I know the guards in the area are all around me, people are screaming and running and two guards are chasing me.

I run like a madman, climbing walls and ladders and finally jumping into hay to hide.

Its a pretty fun game, but I gotta get used to those controls

sounds good, i mean to get it but i never have enough money, and chances are, my pc will have trouble running it.

Yea, it needs some resources to run pretty, thats for sure.

Troy, I love that one It cracks me up.

The game itself is pretty good, if you like this type of style. The graphics are great of course, but even how the people react to your actions is pretty amazing. If you are walking along and then start running like crazy, people dodge out of your way and ask why is he running like that. Draw your sword and people take a wide berth with you

Hopefully there will be a demo for it. Hard to say though.

I dont blame you. The requirements are a bit high. On the video card, an Nvidia 6800 will work with it, IF, its PCI express. AGP need not apply.

Never seen a game with a requirement like that before.

Well the 6800 is kinda old....

You can't expect them to make high end games AND ones that your outdated gfx card can handel at the same time. :shakehead:

Well I'm not worried about my system. It's pretty good (8800, 6400+, 3gigs) I'm just worried about the quality of the game bug wise. Gears of war had huge potential on PC but the bugs and engine were crap...

I'm not sure if this is just another lame attempt to put a console game on PC or not.:shakehead:

Yes, you'd be surprised how much AGP is still out there. This is the first game that I have seen that says "No AGP" on the box.

I dont think Crysis even said that, I dont have the box though, but ran it on my AGP system
