    mp3 Gaming...

For awhile now I've been playing with loud (very loud music) while playing COD4. I've been finding in TDM type games I play a hell of alot better, my eyesight seems to be sharper with good rock tunes. I guess it only really pays to hear on S&D.

anyone else game alot in cod4 with music?

Nope... cos I love hearing the 12 year olds call me a hacker because I can shoot them...

I tend not to play online games alone anyway, mostly play with friends - so Vent/TS is a must - music is too distracting.

I may try it one day though - play some BFMV loud while kicking some WC ***.

No, I play with my speakers on high so I can hear people running around.

Thats why I can always find you hiding in a corner - I heard you running there long before you stopped to camp.

My l33t h4x are called ears.

        Say word son!

I am the same way. I use DS just for the reason to hear things. The reason why I win 90% of knifes from running around a corner, it's from hearing them, so I throw out my knife, it swings and they run into it. The amount of frames the knife stays out in hella long. So I must say I use cheap tactics of the knife, but sound is key when doing it.

Rarely for FPS games. Racing games (TMU) and simulators are damn sweet with music though

Word! I actually made a radio station on Pandora called "FPS Shooter Music" and it owns for doing some killing. I get high scores with or without the music (not trying to sound cocky), so I wouldn't say it hurts or helps, but it feels cool lol.

If i was to listen to music i would have to sort out all the sound levels for COD4, and that seems like alot of effort.

I've tried playing with some music but i don't play as good as without it, you don't really realise how important your ears are until you try and play without them.

although i played awesome to some A7X the other night

Eh, I tend to listen to some She Wants Revenge when I play. Slower more beat driven, it stops me from winding up and getting frustrated, and helps me kick ***...
