If you ever see a CAL/TWL match, or play in one, there is a reason on the 5v5 infantry rounds that everyone is medic. Maybe some AT, because they can take tickets away instantly but that's it.

That thing about the 1 assault + 1 medic > 2 medics, that DEFINITELY isn't true. The 2 medics can revive each other, and the assault kit would have to go out of his way to go and pick up the other guys kit, and try to revive him.. meanwhile he would be getting killed.

Because we all know how damned hard it is to press G and pick up a kit, oh the aches and pains you have to suffer. The only time a GOOD player would need to pick up the kit and rez is after the enemies are dead, only a noob would try to rez still under fire. And if anyone tries that they're already medic most likely.

there is a guide for assault I wrote a long time ago, I've since improved and it hasn't been fixed for spelling (although there are not many errors), to be honest medics really aren't that good.

Its not really just about pushing the G key. Tell me something, have you played in leagues? Is there any reason as to why assault class is rarely used in leagues? Are you trying to tell us that the competitive players are newbies?

No I've not, but to be honest BF2 is the last game I'd want to play a league in. Its retarded infantry system (medic whorage, bunny hopping, crappy hitboxes) aren't suited to league play. Games like CS or CoD4 would be much better suited to such things.

And in leagues, you really have to play the best thing you can use because its more important than just pubbing, so I won't hold it against someone who plays medic in leagues. Than there are players who don't care about balance and would much rather prefer a challengless slaughter (helicopter users on pubs), and there really isn't anything you can do about people like that.

To be honest, I don't really care what people do on pubs, so long as it isn't drastically effecting everyone around them (People who have their friend TK for helicopter and bring it to the other side so teams have both helicopters to slaughter the infantry, I've seen it too many times to count)
