Haven't seen anyone good with a ganz get under 15%.

Yeah, I picked up the ganz earlier...wow. I guess it took one round for me to notice it in its best preformance. I was using the bianchi as eu, then when the next round came(as PAC), I chose to take the ganz for another spin over my baur. I wrecked so many shops the economy collapsed. 68-20., gold star, 2nd place had 54pts, I had 80. It was exciting to kill 3 guys in a row multiple times.

lol, i once had 6% Accuracy, 1 kill and 0.2kills per minute, but that was when i couldnt distinguish between my team and the other team

:yay: the truth has been uncovered

use it more! the more you use it the higher your accuracy goes, i've steadily been getting 24+ these last few weeks, it used to be 18 or so, and don't fire at random things xD (it really helps) also for some extra cheap kills: kill someone close to a medic, wait till medic revives, kill and repeat, yes cheap i know, but hey, its kills :)

use it as a suppressive tool and you won't have 20%+

accuracy means nothing with machine guns

my thoughts exactly.

I usually burst it even if there is no target just to maintain its tight crosshair but it does use up alot of ammo and requires constant reloading. Good thing you have sentry guns to cover you.

As a machinegunner in the Army, my job was to deliver as much precision fire downrange as possible.

Hitting an enemy soldier was not the main goal; suppressing the enemy was. Keeping the enemy from observing us and directing fire towards our position was often times more important than causing casualties among the enemy.

That is something which is almost impossible to reward in-game, yet it is the role of a MG operator...

sure it doesn't matter as long as you are getting kill's (in the game this is), but if you do have a high accuracy it does show something, and it looks better on your stats page

people with unusual stats usually make me go 'hmmm', not because they might be cheating, but because they are clearly trying to play for their numbers and not the team. fact is, you WON'T have high accuracy with any of the mg's, due to the nature of their inaccuracy. of all the things to go for in-game, accuracy has to be the most random of all, seeing as you can finish rounds with 5000%+

maybe in real life...not in this game, assault and recon (sniper) kits are, the mg's have a start up time, and not all bullets hit...:hmm:

people with unusual stats usually make me go 'hmmm', not because they might be cheating, but because they are clearly trying to play for their numbers and not the team. fact is, you WON'T have high accuracy with any of the mg's, due to the nature of their inaccuracy. of all the things to go for in-game, accuracy has to be the most random of all, seeing as you can finish rounds with 5000%+

this 5000 accuracy happens when you take more than 1 person out with a pk for example, i dont know how that works... but it's true

i had the worst day i have ever had on the ganz on my secondary account :|:
10 kills, 12% accuracy, 20 deaths?? and 1.1kill/min

so to add more tips, these should be obvious, but yes:

Do not keep on going to the same place over and over again, especially if you are simply going after 1 camper/sniper/person

Make sure you know which team is which

Make sure you fire at people

Do not charge with the ganz, its useless firing against an assault weapon or the like while you are running

Don't run around in the open

Don't stand in the open

and concentrate :thumbsup:

I personally think all the weapons, and especially the Ganz, work better when you have people in front of you already. Teammates of course, and when you have a decent vantage point with cover (You want to be covered in places where enemies could attack you from directions you aren't looking!) so that you can fire around or over your teammates while they directly keep the enemy occupied. Alternatively, you want areas that're essentially bottlenecks that you can continuously pepper with single or two-shot bursts until rapidly bursting enemies that actually enter the airspace you're filling with lead! (Shoot areas you expect enemies to appear. Even if none are present)

Example: The Western side of Gibraltar's entrance to Toll Station. For some reasonnnn or anotherrrr.. People clump up there and suffer through each one of the Commander's artillery and expectant machinegunners who are looking down that 'hallway' for a charge and usually knocking down everyone who enters so long as they don't have to reload.

Don't listen to all this endorsement of accuracy as a medal as a machinegunner, look to your Kill to Death Ratio as a mark of your usefulness. But if you can get both, more power to you!
