The ACOG works surprizingly well on the Skorpion, too. You've got to try it to believe it... :salute:

It's not something you'd do in RL, but it works well in-game.

It is amazing how well it works with the scorpion.

Yes, I use the M40 and the R700 only with the acog. It just feels better for me. I can use the scope for closer range stuff as well as a little distance. Also, it's like a normal rifle in the aspect of I can just pull up my sights really quick and get a great shot off without confusing myself with a 10x zoom.

And no I don't use the semi auto snipers with it. That's a joke. =D

i dont really use the acog, im either using a silencer or RDS, but some rifles i had/have the ACog on, but im in CQC more often

Naw, iron sites are good with the M16, but I found using the red dot, I would miss more. When I went to ACOG, the /\ would line up on people nicely and I could pick them off.

Its only a preference and the RDS just didnt work for me.

I like the extra zoom, especially on large custom maps. The RDS isn't very good at really long range.

Yeah, If they would have just allowed us to make changes to the "default" kits.

What would have been cool is at lvl 4, you had your custom kits and at lvl 54 (because 55 you get the 1337 gold deagle) you could adjust the default kits, BUT to make it balanced, you could only choose a primary weapon from each row of those default kits.

So the assault default you could only choose assault guns. Demolition, only shotties, Spec Ops only SMGs.

But, I digest (hehe)

I found today that the RDS on the M4 sways. Never noticed it before. Is there some sway in the RDS? I know there is none with the G3.

Yes, but generally you won't notice. There are guns that has no sway with it though, G3 is a good example.
