Thats the point of Last Stand. Kill someone next to you who's not expecting it.Comment

My biggest peeve w/ Last Stand is that there's no delay between when they get incapacitated and can start shooting back. I played on a map last night and this guy would just keep shooting seamlessly from where I dropped him to where he fell. There should be a ½-second stun so you have time to determine if they're dead or not.
I ended up just starting to shoot people in the feet after that. ;-]Comment

So basically you want them to flop around defenselessly for a half a second so you always have time to drop them before they can kill you...My biggest peeve w/ Last Stand is that there's no delay between when they get incapacitated and can start shooting back. So I had NEVER used martyrdom, but I want to complete the challenges now, so I put it in one of my classes. I feel like a douche b/c I hate it so much so...I changed my in game name to FinshinChalenges LOL! That way my name explains my reason for using it. No one will no it's me @_@ unless you just read that and see that name in game, in which case, sorry for killing you with the nade drop.Comment

The problem is that the animation from standing to lying down, and the bringing up of the pistol is too fast. When you're at a distance from them, it's not a big deal. But if you're very close when you drop them, they can often kill you with Last Stand because it's hard to react to it, unless you're always expecting it.
I do agree they have to be protected long enough to kick LS into action. But I think a few extra animations would help in both the falling down, and drawing the pistol out. Probably 1/5 to 1/4 of a second would even it out a bit.Comment
