Who has never used Martydomb and Last Stand?

Just as the title states, I want to know who amongst this community has never used Martydomb and Last Stand?

I, myself have never used any of the 2 and I'm damn proud of it. I have never had the desire to use them regardless of challenge requirements. To be honest choosing those perks is sorta having a defeatist attitude. When I play, and everytime I play, I play with the intentions of NOT dying. I know it may sound strange or even nieve but its just how I play and have always approached FPS's.

If i am bested in the battlefield then I take it for what it was. Getting a second chance will not change the fact that I was originally bested by my oponent.

Sir I :salute: you.... indeed an honourable warrior

Put both on at one point to do the challenge for it.............. then took them off before i completed the challenges (9/15 for last stand and 13/15 for martyrdom) as it made me sad using them.

Will never use them again........................... ever.

Just kinda on this topic, have run a cross an even more annoying thing about martyrdom..... getting killed by the bastard perk, when somebody else has killed the guy using it, then getting done in on the rush.... Grrrr.

I've never used last stand, and the only time I used martyrdom was when I made my fun kit... M60, 3x Frag, Juggernaut, and Martyrdom... highly entertaining.

Got the challenges for them and then I've never used them again.

They suck. They take up a valuable perk which could be better used.

Their usefulness only begins when you've already taken or are on your way to taking another death to your tally, I'm glad to see my original point is being well received.

Lol... No matter how hard your trying not to die, you will. And thats when last stand comes in pretty handy. Its really useful in S&D since it may give you a chance to take down the guy who just killed you.

I know i will die, but that still doesnt stop me from trying not to.

"Its really useful in S&D since it may give you a chance to take down the guy who just killed you."

That statement right there is what differentiates the ones that use the 2 perks and those that don't. I dont want a second chance. It gives me no gratitude because I had a second chance.

I used Martyrdom for a very short time, because then i discovered Steady Aim and Deep Impact

I once used Last Stand and never got a kill with it, so i never used it again.

Hate both of them. If I drill someone in the head and I see all the blood splatter the wall behind them, how would they have time to pull the pin on a nade? Or if I rip into them with an m249, how would they be able to pull their pistol out, spin round and kill me with 1 shot as i'm lowering my sights to finish them off. I mean, how annoying is that, seriously!
As said, the other mentioned perks likes steady aim, endurance and iron lungs are better.

And shame on the peeps using these below the belt tactics! :P

IMO the one difference is that in S&D, it's less about your own gratification, and more about helping your team. Since there are no respawns, if an enemy gets the drop on you and takes you out that hurts your team - but if you're then able to take him with you, it balances out.

I'm not a fan of either Martyrdom or Last Stand, but I do see a value for it in S&D, if the rules of the match allow it.

Aside for "Shipment" Freeforall, I have never used martydumb in any other game mode and I havnt used last stand at all. I dont have a single kit with that garbage in it.

How is last stand "below the belt"? If your too slow to finish the guy off its kinda your own fault

i never used them.. until i just got sick of dying constantly from other people using it.. then i decided to turn it on.. also it compensates for my REALLY poor lag :p i play it on XboX and 98% of people i play use it.. its suprising how many people will say "no" when asked but its a different story in the game :)

once i get the game for PC it wont be used..

I used them a couple times to see how they were. I didn't like them and thought they were a waste of perk. I'll use Martyrdom on an FFA map like Shipment where it's pure chaos anyway, but I won't use either on a real load-out.
