Punkbuster updates itself. It always has. Most of the problems before were with it failing to update itself or lag and slowdowns while it was updating. If you looked around in my post history you'd see that I don't insult people very often. Just when they deserve it.
If you want to play ranked servers in any way, shape or form, you have to have punkbuster up to date and running the service and everything.

i dont think you guys understand.

Its not about how long the map is taking to load.

When i click my icon and the videos run i have to click login to profile, its this logging in that takes ages and when it finally is done, it chucks me into some random server?

I dont go to the BFHQ or anything first.

Do what I done and delete everything in your BF2 "movies" directory.

^^Wrong... That will just replace videos with black screen and wont save you any time.

Right click on the shortcut and go to preferenses, where it says "target" (i think) add +restart

With my movies folder, it loads up all videos, and takes a long time.

Without my movies folder, I double click my icon and I'm at the log-in screen, in literally 3 seconds.

Thanks to the guy who suggested i reinstall the PunkBrstra A and B things, works like a charm so far.
