Well, they aren't as dead as the CoH forums... I think it is just the mentality of gamers today, not many want to get into RTS because some really gay World Of Warcraft type game comes to mind when you think about RTS' (which essentially isn't true). People are just afraid to differ from their FPS' and don't realize how great RTS' like WiC and CoH are!

I just took a big hiatus from WoW and I'm looking through my old games(like WiC and BF2142) and deciding if the playerbase is still big enough to make the game feel alive and fun, not dead and desolate.

The Single player was fun but the multi player sucks. I tried playing it for 15 minutes and was bored. I prefer having a base to defend rather then just calling in reenforcement. hmm I think ill go play me some CoH have not played that in ages.

I loved the multiplayer in the betas, but it just got boring in the full version...

I am thinking about getting it as well, at the moment I am bored as heck.

I've played CoD4 a hell of a lot, and its pretty much boring now, so I am looking for something to get into.

Will this fill my itch for a long time? Or will it get old after a few days like others have said?

I've read 5 reviews the MP (all I care about in any game) seems cool but I can see how you can get bent over if your team mate is not good.

I am in a toss up between this game and UT3, I know UT3 has a low player base but its still enough to get a game and the vctf is appealing.

i like many others bought it out of sheer boredom........i did the beta....toyed around with the demo and saw it on amazon used for $15 including shipping so i figured what the hell....i spend that much in 10 minutes at the bar.......well what i found were rooms filled with completely dominate players and lucky to find 6 active rooms when i search...no middle ground for a noob...none at all.

single player was awesome, i had lots of fun but the second i go multi player i get completely dominated and i know what that can be like....i know what i do to players in BF2 when i go 70 and 1 in a J10 and piss them off but in wic i just felt so jaded when i get dominated, like i have no recourse to "get back" or retaliate in game.....just constant domination or sheer luck or what ive begun to call paper rock scissors game play and im far from mastering it. i don't know, maybe im wrong but i can never find a room with non dominating players to really learn the game in so i find myself passing it up more often than not.

Gte UT3..definitely better than this..And it doesnt have that much of a small player base..Suprisingly more people have it than you think...
