    Making BF2 Look Better?

I've upgraded to an 8800GTX / Quad Core / 4 GB RAM build, and with every maxxed i get 100 FPS - ALL options are maxed and my drivers are set to 16xAF and "High Quality".

    Any tips?

Have you been into the graphics card options on dekstop and altered those, ie image quality to high quality.

        Yup, done that, too.

I have added AF, I tried forcing more AA via the drivers, but the text went borked (even when using nHancers "BF2 compatibility" mode) - perhaps I was using the wrong AA type? (i tried Coverge Sample).

I am using a 22" WS monitor, set to the right resolution via the shortcut hack.

        Any packs I can download?

No. That's all. Apart from forcing things through Nvidia Control Panel, there is nothing else...

Do you mean the map or do you mean something else?

no, hence my sarcastic post earlier on :)

                    You could try this:

Homepage for Total Gaming Network and CS-Nation. Get the latest video game news, previews, and reviews on a daily basis.

EDIT: The pictures in that thread seem to be missing, but the advice is still there.

Yeah, the map. Best looking map in the game.

Have you tried turning on Supersampling?

Turn up your monitor contrast a little bit. Some people thinks it looks ugly but somehow I find it to look really sweet :)

Try running it in stereoscopic 3D. That'll cut your frames in half.

Oh and IF you're running XP you might wanna do the tweak for > 4GB ram.

I'm running Vista x64, not sure what tweak you mean?

Why would I run in Stereoscopic? I dont have the glasses for it...
