Im kinda surprised how many do hate downpour. I know everyone gripes about shipment, but I thought I was out of the norm for not liking it.

I don't mind Shipment just because it's so over the top I always expect complete chaos. I hate Wetworks; nade fest or getting sniped from the bridge.

Countdown gets annoying too. So many people just killing you through tiny little cracks as you do something other than camp under a crate/random cement wall like everyone else

I can't stand District. Most of the other maps are okay (Shipment can be fun sometimes).

shipment, for being a 1 on 1 map. and wet work for being a grenade spam llama map. most the other maps are fine, they all should be much bigger though.

Countdown, because the first CoD game I played since I broke my arm was on Countdown and I was 17-25. Awful.

shipment is fun, you just have to play differently, it makes a nice break from the standard game play to go a little mental every now and then, chuck a load of nades ect, get back in touch with your noob side.

count down I used to hate until I managed to figure it out, don't play it like any other assault map, treat it like you are in a semi sniper map, flank the sides, use team mates to run round obstacles first, flash and smokes are really useful and dont stay still for longer then 30 seconds. try to always go after the other spawn, make that your objective. (99% of the time you wont get there but you will nab a few on the way)

I don't really like crossfire mainly because it is completely filled with snipers. I don't hate the map, but I don't like how it has been used by players. Shipment is kinda small too.

Crash and Winter Crash FTW.

My most hated have to be any of the middle eastern maps other than ambush. My favorites are ambush, overgrown, and downpour. I could play those 3 maps and only those and be extremely happy.

I find them to be the best designed, dunno why so many hate them.

well on downpour there are only 3 paths, 2 through the mg fields and 1 through that small hole in the wall which is camped to pieces.

Downpour just downright sucks.

The MGs can practically pierce through about 5 walls before it stops going, so even if you're behind lots of cover, you'll still get killed by the spray.

If the MGs got removed from this map, it might be a whole lot better.

I have no problems, but then again, I won't play on servers with more than 16 people. Those servers are just plain stupid, as CoD4 maps were not designed with that many people in mind.
