Why do scuicides make you lose points?

I guess it must do Zach as I have never team switched within a game, I've experienced the 'you have been moved to the other team' plenty of times, does that count as suicide ?

Doesn't the auto switch only occur once you've died?

Is it being assumed that an Admin doing the switch acts as a suicide or is it a confirmed fact? Pretty weak if it is.

In all honesty, can you really be assed walking half way across the map to your nearest vehicle, when you can just press suicide and grab one at your nearest spawn 15s later?

Uh, I think everyone has missed the really obvious reason. Well, I always thought this was the reason anyway.

Minus points for suicide means you can't easily pad with 2 people (same team, one guy suicides the other revives).

Suicide is not revivable.

One of the funniest examples of padding I've ever seen was on Karkand. 2 Medics were throwing medpacks at each other and sitting on the car engulfed in flames at the hotel. They were doing this for the longest time. LOL

I laughed so hard, imagine having that kind of time.

I don't do that, but I can say majority of my suicides are from the almighty jihad-jeep :yay:
