lmao damn could u imagine if u didnt lose a point when u hit suicide.. EVERY single person would just hit suicide just before being killed to avoid the other team gaining points and their team lossing points... without that simple yet vital feature the game as we know it would be totaly f***ed lol people would be using it to teleport to spawn points rather than use the veichles or run.. it would suck

It's not a suicide if someone damages you before you do it. So that idea wouldn't really work.Originally posted by xX5N1P3RXx View Postlmao damn could u imagine if u didnt lose a point when u hit suicide.. Although getting around the level in 15 seconds would certainly be a concern. Or maybe if you saw a tank or a jet coming in before they hit you you could make a break for it.

Uh, I think everyone has missed the really obvious reason. Well, I always thought this was the reason anyway.
Minus points for suicide means you can't easily pad with 2 people (same team, one guy suicides the other revives).

People should suicide to get round the map. But EA cleverly worked out people would care so much about their stats that they would rather waste 2 mins of their life running to a base with action to spare that extra 1 added to their death count LOL.
Internet pride is so funny yet obviously can be used to manipulate.

EA had no idea of padding before it actually appeared.Originally posted by Tsovehr View PostUh, I think everyone has missed the really obvious reason. Well, I always thought this was the reason anyway.

Uhh... When you commit suicide you die completely and cant get revived. And -2 points wouldnt help if someone wanted to padd. They would simply create a new account and suicide awayOriginally posted by Tsovehr View PostUh, I think everyone has missed the really obvious reason. Team switching counts as a suicide. When you do it manually, I mean. I don't know about a forced, auto-balance team switch, but knowing EA/DICE, it probably counts as a suicide, too. :pOriginally posted by UKseagull View PostThe suicide count is crap, I have never chosen suicide but my stats say that I have.
