And maybe that's the exact reason. P90 is just if-you-see-the-enemy-hold-down-left-mouse-button spray style and the fact that the P90 can shoot someone else in a straight line from the other end in Overgrown in the head is just ridiculous.

Umm... Any gun can headshot people from across the maps (the tiny 1/4 of a mile maps) except the shotguns...

M4 and P90.

Both are easily point, click, kill weapons.

Back when COD4 was still newish, it would have to be the MP5 for ease of use and plenty of damage.

I think that there is an important distinction to be made between over used and used a lot. Over used implies that it needs to be used less for whatever reason. Used a lot has no such implied or inferred meaning.

I think the M4 is used a lot, because of it's nonexsistent recoil.

I think grenades are overused, because the nature of the game makes it incredibly easy to get free kills with them.

I'd say the P90, and blind spam-nading (Frag x3).

The M4 is used a lot, but it is a fairly balanced, multi-purpose weapon, so that's to be expected. It doesn't bother me.

I see more "abuse" (I use that term lightly) of the P90, often +double tap.
