Double tap works wonders for some guns, the g36 most notably.

Just tried it. HORRIBLE. For me, anyway...

It worked well with a silencer and stopping power though! You saw that, you were there!

I generally use it on HC kits. The volume of fire is better for mowing down people than the stopping power perk. Hell most weapons in HC don't need any additional power.

Double Tap with the M4 drains it of ammunition too quickly.

I can kill just as fast with Stopping Power, so I'm fine with that.

Double Tap does wonders on the M60 though.

I just used DT with an M16 and ACOG. I liked it a lot. The 3-round burst comes out quicker and seems to make a tighter grouping. I'll have to try it more, but I liked DT much more than Stopping Power.

Maybe thats why DT is "attractive". Its not so much that its more powerful, the math tells us all that SP beats it, but that it changes how the gun reacts and feels.

DT with the M4 *seems* to make it not have the recoil it usually has.

It could be situational as well. In hardcore it seems a lot more powerful than in softcore.

Yeah its weird, DT seems to reduce recoil. I know it couldn't, but I like the way it seems to.

                    RPD + DT = Win
