I've always either had really good days or really bad days with the voss. If you get the feel for it and you like it then it's great. I'm not great with it. It's to sensitive for my taste.

I don't find Voss particularly advantageous to other rifles. It has advantage at short range, but can be beaten by other ARs at mid range. I perfer Baur and don't use Voss as default.Comment

A few mentioned burst, which is important for ammo savings, but the above quote says it all. Can't tell you how many battles I've won where I'm at 40 health, run up against some dood who's full in a hallway, and I win in the burst fest. Head shots.
But that aside, what sux about a wep that does ok damage, has a high rate of fire, doesn't jump around like the baur, and has a 40(!!) round clip?? I kill 2-3 per clip, though anytime I'm below low 20's rounds, I reload when I have a quiet moment. The voss is a great "all around" wep, that covers most situations adequately.
Wolf, I play quite a bit with ya on the TRR server. One of the probs is there are some seriously good to great peeps on that server that don't let you make mistakes without seeing a 15 second respawn timer.Comment

the key is to zoom in even at short distances. in scoped view, it's deadly accurate with almost no recoil. keep using the scope at all times except at point blank ranges.

Lol the fun thing is i got over 14.000 kils with the voss,
and since December i play with the krylof and Scarr only..
and jesus i ****ing suck with the voss now..
Not that i shoot bad but damn the gun is even worse than the scar :PComment

Same here, switched to Krylov/Scar few feeks ago and dont think im gonna use Voss anymore
but its still a great weapon when u can get used to it!Comment

yep i cant hit anyone with a voss. when i used it much i knew the best way was to aim just a bit at the side of the target. thats how i ended up with 100% hit ratio lol. but i never was good with it and every wapon is better than a voss(maybe pistols not). i prefer any wapon over a voss. scarr krylov baur sniper rifles mg smgs. everythingComment

Yeah, some of those guys are ****ing amazing. Linnis is one of them. That guy insta-kills me with his Baur every time I see him. Doesn't matter the range or what weapon I have, he kills me. My only chance at getting him is if he happens to be looking at someone else at the time. :p
Great server, too, although it was painfully laggy last night. I had to leave after a Berlin round where I was rubberbanding and skipping all over the place (and yet still getting insta-killed by Linnis :laugh: ).

I never have been especially good with the voss in conquest. I use it exclusively on titan assault and defense, because its firing rate and ammo make it good for spray & pray (the way I shoot upclose). On most conquest maps, when I play pac, I go with the Krylov, because of it's long distance killing ability. I never use the scar tho I hear it has been buffed, and I see more ppl using it. maybe I should give it a shot.
So no, you're not the only one who sucks with a Voss. I really feel like it's a situational gun (for me at least) as opposed to the WIN button it seems to be in the hands of some.Comment

I've been using the Baur for a few months, not touching the Voss since i feel dirty while using it. Yesterday i tried the krylov again...
That weapon is.. just crazy. Dropping people like flies close and far away, i don't think the Voss has **** on it apart from magazine size. :PComment
