Tweaking for infrantry

I heard all about tweaking for helicopter tvm but a friend told me about tweakin hitboxes for infrantry.

Can someone tell me, what this doe like will the hitbox be in right place?

And is it worth it? Thanks

It's done using the same principles.

Making sure the image of the enemy is in the same place as the hotbox.
I can't think why you'd different settings for each.

You'd use different settings for each because choppers move much more quickly than troops on the ground.

I rarely hear people actually using this method. BF2 has never and will never be optimized for infantry. Go CSS.

I prefer battlefield 2 infrantry, and so do many many people.

hey im a pr player and i can safely say cod 4 beats bf2 in infantry combat in pretty much every way.


back ontopic, there is a tweak somewhere i remember doing to help hitbox or hit latency ill try find it

I got mine set as...

SettingsManager.floatSet GSDefaultLatencyCompensation 0.040000 (normally got 40ping)
SettingsManager.boolSet GSExtrapolateFrame 0 (didnt change)
SettingsManager.U32Set GSExtrapolationTime 100 (got quite a fast pc, seems to work,2 gig ram and can run high graphics well)
SettingsManager.U32Set GSInterpolationTime 30 (same as above)


This has worked brilliant for me, but only recently found. Anything you recommend changing?

@gazzthompson, does cod4 have squads? Does it rely on capturing spawn points? Does it have infantry only with our constant airstrikes which just make the best even better? Does it have large maps?
Just cause you dont like bf2 infantry doesnt mean your opinion matters lol keep vehical whoring on pub servers to give purpose to your lives lol.
