Weapons are also game mode dependant. Take the G3 and M14. I hardly see them in normal, but in HC they are beasts.

And just about any gun with Stopping Power and Steady Aim is a beast.

The last month or so, the guns I've really seen the least of are the LMG's. There was one guy using the RPD+Deep Impact combo when our server was in HC mode the other night, but that was the exception, not the rule.

It's a tribute or something. Because this is a modern day conflict and the MP44 is what opened the door to a new kind of all around weapon, the assault rifle.


But I would have rather had seen the M1 Garand in there as IW made all those WW2 games, they should have put it in there instead, even if the M14 is like it. The Garand would be sweet as a aone shot one kill weapon with stopping power!!

It's not a bad rifle, but it does require more discipline than the M4, which any nub can pick up and rape with.

It is a bad rifle. When compared to the M4 it has the same damage while having more recoil and a slower rof, worse sights and more hipfire spread.

The AK requires more discipline but unlike the G36C it pays you off after you master the recoil.

I have a G3 kit setup for hardcore - G3 on hardcore is amazing. Even if it is only single shot, you can put someone down with two rounds to the torso and one round to the face.

Of course in hardcore two to the body and one to the head with ANY gun kills. Even the M9.

Personally I LOVE the Skorpion. It's my favourite weapon. Nice high ROF, nice damage, easy to point shoot in HC without crosshairs, easy to use sights, and IMHO a nice fast reload time.

I mainly play HC, but I even run it a couple of times in SC. It's a fantastic weapon. I use Bandoilers, UAV jammer, Steady aim and a supressor. No one can see you, no one can hear you, and you can clean up those camping sniper whores once you get around them.

It's the weapon kit I developed for Wetwork, and it works just as well on Overgrown, Block, Vacant, Downpour and a couple others.

Doesn't work too well on Crash or Crossfire though.....

Any gun anywhere kills you in HC. I went through a Skorpion phase, with Double Tap. Problem was, I needed to reload in 2 seconds.

The MP44 is still used in some modern conflicts. Look at pics of conflicts in Africa. There are quite a few pics of MP44's in the background.
