Wait, people actually care about stats? That much?
The only time I check stats is to see if someone's completely worthless in a heli. Even then, that may not necessarily tell the whole story.
The only stat that's important is time played. What better way to prove my nerdiness than to have numerical proof as to how long I've spent glued to my seat playing BF2?
does that mean if i dont unlock all my upgrades before then, i may not get to at all?
Like mentioned below my post, I think they will let everyone have the unlocks when they do actually drop the stats... ALTHOUGH this is EA we're talking about so nothings for sure.

yeah thing is, I dont have time to play much - infact I had to uninstall bf a few days ago as it was taking up too much of my time, so by the time i get round to playing it again/ranking up and unlocking my weapons I hope i manage it before EA pull the plug on it, but if they do just give everyone the unlocks id be satisfied =)

Yup, then everyone that spent thousands of hours to earn the awards, unlocks, ranks and badges will be crying. :laugh:

those stats are just a gimmick. i havent looked at mine for years now and havent got a clue what rank i am. i dont need a profile to remind me how damn good i am.
lol i care about stats!! its what makes the game more of a game... gives u somthing to work towards... makes it more fun in my opinion, everyones different though :)
I'm not worried about the stats but what if EA decides to shut down the account server? No more online play, even unranked (unless someone reverse-engineers an account server). The only MP would be using offline accounts through Hamachi.

stats were the best part of the game and the worst, they made the game more popular and pretty much ruined gameplay at the same time.
