Oh Gawd... I've done that once or twice too, but generally only on the tv's I follow through a lot or if I try and use the mounted gun. If I'm just doing a bombing run then I don't tend to miss F1 since you press it so soon after F2.

It's particularly bad if your gunship crashes into you mid-fall too

I tend to reload pretty often. Bad habit after playing CS/TF2/CoD4 and pretty much any other FPS game there is

Fortunately I play with Shuko/Bianchi/Clark the most so I can resupply myself

Another one I realized was reloading way to often with the Baur. The thing has no ammo to begin with; I gotta learn how to pistol **** sometime haha

A big fault of mine is TK's. If someone TK's me on purpose; or even somehow really stupidly ; and it shouldn't have happened I will generally kill them, just to even it out. But it doesn't do me any good.

Rushing too much when attacking the titan. Not letting my teamates spawn and we end up running in one at a time and getting killed. Not clearing the vents and/or corridors with the consoles blown before running to the unblown consoles or reactor core.

Capping flags in tanks or walkers - that's not really what they are for.

Not using the crouch very often.

          Not aiming for the head.

I tend to commit suicide when i'm hiding from someone that got the drop on me and has me down to 10hp or less when i cannot heal, and won't be bailed out by friendlies and have no chance to kill the guy.

Its a really bitter thing to do i suppose, but its one of my few failings.

Another failing is that i can be EMP-ing a walker for 10 minutes and still continue, instead of letting the sea of friendlies pay for for their insulance by unleashing the beast they regard as a statue instead of a ENEMY THAT WILL RAPE THEM THE MOMENT A SNIPER KILLS ME.

my flaw is getting too much attention, and shooting when im too far away, and my knife skills (the less said the better).

Oh another one, forgetting I set the Baur to single shot when I need auto.

That seriously messes me up sometimes. Where I run into an enemy open fire by holding down; but it pops out one. The initial shock is "AH DAMNIT!" If you are not dead by the moments hesitation then keep tapping that mouse lol Usually never works against Vossers.

Due to the fact that I play a lot of competitive Unreal Tournament 3 nowadays, whenever I play 2142 I keep trying to double jump or walldodge, or when I get surprised I start using my UT3 keybinds instead of the 2142 ones...often resulting in me bailing out of a vehicle instead of switching weapons....or grabbing a knife when confronted with a tank..

                  That kinda stuff...

Also, using UT's rambo attitude in 2142 doesn't work very well. While I'm able to successively take out three enemies on my own with just the minigun in UT, I can't really say the same about 3 enemies with a pistol in 2142

So basically: getting my games mixed up!

I hate when that happens. When I go from 2142 to BF2 I always die several times or lose a lot of health from jamming the space bar and then realizing that the parachute is bound to a separate key in that game.

I have a weird key config in BF, so this happens a lot if I switch from any other FPS where I use the normal wasd setup.

Ditto. Don't even get me started on that.
Or, in a similar vein, when I play sniper on BF2 and use my scroll wheel to 'zoom' only to find myself armed with a knife or pistol. :wall:

i always get separated from my squadmates and end up doing my own thing. don't get me wrong -- i ALWAYS do things that help out the team. it's just i work a LOT better in the background, infiltrating the enemy base and sabotaging enemy assets or stalking around the map taking out vehicles and key personnel like snipers and engies.

i don't like to be called a lone wolf because everything I do is for the team. if the team lacks a medic, i go med. if I notice lots of players are heavy ammo users like engies i go support. i'm just that guy who shows up to help kick the enemy's *** and vanishes before you even get my name.

it's just the way i play :salute:
