Shiny bunker bags?

hey sorry to keep posting like this but i was just playing online then and u know the little brown bunker bags? well they were shiny and smooth...the bunkers looked like smooth gold bars lol i took a screen shot but it didnt work but have any of u guys ever witnessed this before?? is there somthing worng with my game or hardware??

You need to delete your shader cache so it re-optimises.

Someone remind me where that is, because i cannot remember :p

maybe u set ur graphics up? or do you mean it looks worse now? also whats it like performance-wise?

Do exactly what Alex said - this has been posted before.

If you can't find your cache, trying altering and then resetting your graphics, which makes the game re-optimize the shaders.

its happend before..it normaly just go's away the next time i open a game... was just curiouse why i happend :P thanks for the help though.

Metal Knight... im running an 8800GTX,4 gb corsaire XMS2 ram and a Q6600 cpu lol i run everything maxed so it looks the best it can look..but i am having a few problems with my pc that are going to be fixed soon :)

and thats quite good specs lol - i run everything on max too, it makes the game look so good, and yeah i dont think u would get lag either, i only get lag on like really far away servers hehe

do u get late draw in on ur games? its where graphics wont apear until ur a certan distance from them..ill show u a clip... keep ur eye on the electric terminals in the background and u can see what i mean about the graphics being drawn in as i move closer



i had to make it short otherwise it would still be uploading lol also u may need to open it fullscreen to see it clearly

That happens all the time for me, and I play on all the highest settings as well.

It has to do with view distance, if BF2 would try to render everything on the map it would have lagged like hell on any computer when BF2 was released.

It actually can make it look better sometimes but that sharp transition is annoying.

yeah it would have been better if they made it blend a bit lol but i can live with it:) happens in crysis too

ok so i cleared my cache yet im still getting these shiny bunkers i got a screen shot with fraps this time and here it is :) looks cool hey lol but i still cant get rid of it what else could be causing this?
