well thats what i do sometimes, so thats how i justify it.
Well, on karkand you often see commanders spot targets on the warehouse flag where no friendlies are around... I have also multiple times seen commanders spot enemies in enemy uncap, wtf is up with that?

I completely understand when commander is spotting ppl who are "behind enemy lines" sosomeone would spawn on a flag further behind and take them out, but sometimes the spam gets retarded

Next time you're on a team that's dominating the enemy completely take note of the number of spots.

Then join the losing team and compare the number of spots.

            That's why people spot.

awww, sorry. ill bring it back =D

i find it quite useful when people point out where the enemy is, gives you a heads up and sometimes its just enough for you to take out an enemy that would have killed you otherwise!

lol yeah it is useful however when i started this post i was talking about the normal noob player...not the comander or squad leader or whatever else just the normal noooooob player who just sits there and constantly spots the same target over and over and over almost like spamming! and the only way they stop is if someone go's there and kills their spot...then they move onto another spot and spot it over and over and over and they normaly do it rapidly so all u get is a fast paced noise in ur ear the whole time...its stupid and very very frustrating...

The worst is when you see a Tank approaching and you want to spot him, to track his movements (One is assuming that he hasn't noticed you yet; and you wish to keep it this way) but instead of "Enemy Armor Spotted" you get "Enemy Unit Spotted" three times in a row, and you appear to be spamming when all you wanted to do was target the tank for your teams awareness.

Spotting helps a lot when there is no UAV above, and it helps to see where the target is going then to run into it and get stabbed in the face.
