Reason does. Youre comparing a coach to a van, saying a van sucks because it doesnt transport as many people, even though they are built for different purposes in mind.

Russian tanks- armor stallers and infantry support
US tanks- armor killers

Reasonable people do. Obviously more weight = more armor. But a lot of people dont even consider T90 to be an MBT, which Abrams is. T90 can very well be considered a medium tank.

T90 and Abrams have never met on the battlefield. Theres no "facts", theres just speculation and theories. Considering that the RHA level on both tanks is comparable, as is the APDSFS or HEAT shot strenght, the one who takes the first shot, wins. Which is all up to the crew and technology in the tank, specifically aiming optics.

It is quite remarkable though, how a much lighter tank, has pretty solid characteristics.

But you forget that Russian military hardware also has a coolness factor.
The T90 is just cooler than the M1A1, not much you can do about it.
American crew says: ":shock: I wanna have that tank !" and the Russian just shoot up the yanks.

Personally, I think Russia's technology is better because it's way more durable.

Before a US jet takes off, there are like 15 guys looking for every tiny rock on the runway, Russian jets take off on broken and cracked runways.

I think Russia has better all-weather capability too

US makes great weapons destruction-wise but IMHO not as durable as Russian ones, and when wars get stagnant(and they always do) that's where durability comes into play for a huge advantage, Russian jets, helos and other arms need minimal maintenance, they just work and work and work.

Including triple redundancy flight backup systems, it can fly missing an engine, and half a wing. Aft of canopy shielded against bird strikes. It also usually sports a shark mouth.

True. Why else would people still be using the AK-47? You can throw it in a lake for a year and still be able to use it afterwards. If only computers were like that.

Its true, believe it or not.

I wouldnt say Russian tech is much more reliable, it still breaks, but you can usually repair it very fast and very cheap.
