Good rotation?

We're a new community just starting out and wanted to get opinions on rotation. I tried not to put all the maps in but didn't want IO only either. Thoughts?

Maps:

• Jalalabad
• Wake 2007
• Strike at Karkand
• Dragon Valley
• Gulf of Oman

Great rotation, two very good close range city maps which cater for my love of the Sniper and three very good air maps which cater to my love of flying. Okay two of those maps are F35Bs against J10s which is a pain for average pilots (like me) but other than that I would love this rotation.

Sorry we're not in EU but we are East Coast, USA so you should get a decent ping. We have members from the UK and Germany who play with no issues.

I would think you'd either want air vehicals or ground maps, because generally people prefer one style or the other.
However i have never seen this, so could attract both audiences.

I dont think it is always the maps, its active well controlled admins that start up servers in mornings and attract regulars :).

But yes most important thing is your server lasts a long time without many changes. Regular admins and admins start up server. It is tough to start a server because you dont have regulars. If server gets good rep you will do well

I was also toying with the idea of swapping Dragon Valley with Kubra Dam.

Personally I'd swap Karkand for Mashtuur.
It probably won't get as many players in, but I like it :)

Those are good suggestions, personally I don't like Jalalabad but I see it on many full servers so I threw it in there.

Full rotations are underrated these days apparently.

I don't think it'll work. Most people playing Wake, Karkand, and Jalalabad only play those maps 24/7, they don't want a rotation.

You need to choose either infantry, vehicles, or an aviation theme. So called "Favourites" servers like your idea just don't work.
