    tactical movements! IT WORKS

well me and my 2 friends where moving around like a proper squad, stop at corners and covering each other, working together, and we were taking and defend flags like there was no tomorrow, and racking up the points.

but then 1 sniper took me out and cos of that we had trouble re-grouping for the rest of the round idk why, but after that we started to fail misrably, then and admin joined our squad, we talked to him on voip, and we regroup on him, stuck together and raped and lonewolf and squad that attempted to take us down.

    moral of the story,
    friends + ts/voip = win

Doing gaming with friends together with VOIP is always better than without VOIP.

skag, are you ever getting a mic other than the one you got for your band :P ?

        Look down

EDIT: dont warn me for telling everyone they should get PR, from the sounds of it, this guy likes tactical games and such, and should thus download PR.

I played PR. I didn't encounter any "tactical games" or even teamwork. Let me guess, I was in the "wrong" PR server?

I'd also like to take this opportunity to add that PR sucks my balls

            Yes, our TS:

Sike: Get in the chopper! We have one spot left.
Blade: OMGZ GOEZ we are going to get TV'd
            Smoke: eeeeeeeeeeeeek (high pitched voice)
            Sike: Let's Move!
Navras: *Chirp w/ Flapping* Shut up BIRD!
Smoke: "Bird" isn't a proper name for a bird!
Navras: *Smoke was kicked from the server*
            Me: *Moves Channel*

But yeah, you're right. Teamwork w/ TS does work great in BF2.

Do most squad players use VOIP ? Which one, the in game thing or some other ? I have my pooter setup in my living room so using voip isn't really an option, unless I'm prepared to risk a slap from the good lady when I talk over the good bits in Eastenders (yup apparently they sometimes have good bits).

That joke is what one would expect from a 10-year-old. Grow up.

Now on topic: PR is kewl if you get on the right server, with the right people, at the right time and if you're really high or drunk and you really don't care about what is going on on your screen.

we did that once 3 of us. We would have a squad leader who we would ask permission to cross over to his position.
Ask permission to shoot a target. Cover each other sayiong clear. We had a nickname for enermys which was "tangos" lol.

Absolutely hilarious. But our scored suffered from it lol.

I find less ppl using voip these days. It's sad, because it eimproves the squadplay a lot.
Also most squadleader don't give orders so every sm runs where he wants to.

Problem could be that clanmembers in a squad use their TS and ignore the voiping nonclan sm.

BTW, PR was NOT the topic ;-)

It's strange. I seem to find more people using it than this time last year..
