    2 is definitely awesome. I feel that the soundtracks have gone downhill since then. Especially the battle sounds.

        Even though I've heard them a bazzilion times, the songs for each of the various cities in BF2142 are really nice too. In fact, I've enjoyed all the Battlefield series music.

            I agree the battle themes weren't as exciting, but some of the town ones were fantastic (Fortress comes to mind).
