You've been away from the game for two years, and expect people who've been playing this entire time and have become extremely proficient to deal with what's possibly a source of hindrance for the team as a whole. You may not realize that if you're not competent in the heli, your actions have the opposite effect of being detrimental to the team's effort.

I personally wouldn't hesitate to ask you to bail out if your pilotting or gunning isn't appropriate for the level of competition we're facing in the server.

but they tell you to get out before they see you in action. ok they may have a mate they want who they know is kick arse good but they should find a server that serves that need, the public servers are free for all first come first serve servers.

Generally speaking, they should at least give you a chance to prove yourself...

But let me ask you this: if someone had done that and still found you wanting, would you really oblige him by bailing out? Most people don't, hence why many players skip that step by asking you to exit right away.

I tend to skip the "testing" phase when I know there's good competition on the other side because at that point, the odds are too slim that some random unknown will be of help.

switch teams and prove me ur good, try to take me down or something, thats what I do when I get redlined or TKed for the chopper, I switch teams and wipe the map with that sucker

i noticed if you fly fast and skim the deck you can kill your gunner, i did it by accident once.

Yeah it's like you have to play against everyone on the map. Should be banned first time you TK for a vehicle.

yeah sadly i got something similar done today - which i find happens to me more than TK's and that is forcing TK's

i was playing wake island and i got into the F35 this noobified loser somehow (most likely through practise) managed to get himself killed by me taking off vertically and punishing me, when i CLEARLY got to the plane fair and square before him...

well if this is true then thats strengthens the argument for him being a loser, he should have some dignity and try to take me out fairly.

though despite this - that wasnt the case as it was only my second round and first attempt to pilot the Jet...

yeah i find piloting a jet much easier than i did when i first started, though im still not very good at bombing...i can dive bomb - but not regular bomb, it sounds weird but i dont know it just works for me. i also find it quite hard to take out other planes because usually the opponent is a seasoned jet pilot, and i am not IMO.

It takes a bit of trial and error to find a decently admined server but it is worth it.

Funny, I'm not religious, but the two servers I play on the most are Christian Gamers Online and Iron Sharpens Iron. Both have extremely active members and there is usually an admin on. They have rules (no base rape, no tking, being a smacktard, etc.) that you have to get used to but they are not overbearing at all about it.

The bonus for ISI is that its a west coast USA based server so I have a ping of around 20 in there.

Lol you got to be joking right? I was on Christian server and accidental tk a person the admin got so pee off he warn me in big letters. So I said I was sorry. Only to be told not to do it again. End of story only then when I was special ops c4 a lad not knowing it was the admin on the mec side and I was ban. I wrote and asked for the ban to be lifted the answer was no we will not as you c4 our admin. Childish server full for do gooders and :censored:.

As you can see I have no time for such servers and found another very good server and the admins change the maps around making it more fun to play. By the way forgot to tell you if you do a search on the net you get kicked off by PB for saying suck, christ, god, balls, and the like now what I can see is no swearing so they can go and :censored: off for all I am concern. one more thing don't tell the commander off for playing or not doing his job as my mate just got ban this week good server my arse

there are technics for shaking the planes and they work but you find yourself doing this all the time on some servers. at least in a heli i can pick off a few troops while im waiting for the J10 to turn around and come back, if hes got the balls. those missiles from the J10 are so easy to dodge its funny.

actually the best advice i can give to anyone starting out on a heli is consentrate on going for the planes when you can, you learn how to respond much quicker and when you kill them its got to be the best hit of adreneline you can get from this game.

thanks pxr5, btw do you use a joystick? i use a mouse and keyboard - just curious, as my friend has a joystick and when i play with him at his house i use his other joystick for the hell of it.

though i really HATE attack choppers when im chugging happily away in my tank only to get barraged into the ground from the back by a pesky little mosquito -.-

i prefer troop only servers but the heli's are the only durable weapon of choice for me on the usual servers, its either that or im being hit by J10's all night in my tank.

i never use joysticks in any games its always mouse and keyboard.
i fly RC helicopters and i transplanted the guts of my joystick into an RC transmitter so i can practice RC flight on a PC simulator.
