MP5 vs. AK-74u

Bullet Penetration: 74u uses medium bullets, MP5 small ones

I like both of these weapons, but I'm wondering if there's a reason to actually use the MP5 anymore. :shakehead

Mp5 is better, because it kills faster with less rounds.
Could be the fact that the Mp5 uses 9mm bullets and the Ak-7u uses a lower cailbur.

Ask the devs, not me, in reality the 74u uses rifle ammunition.

The MP5 definately doesn't kill faster. RoF and damage are exactly the same, you can look it up in Dairuka's Weapon Chart.
If anything, the 74u can kill faster when enemies are standing in a row, because of the better bullet penetration. That can be a pretty big advantage.

I actually abhor the AK-74u. I'm currently working on the marksman and expert challenges for this gun, and I find it very difficult to do well in matches with this gun. I think that it must be because of the accuracy. When trying to kill enemies at a long distance, the MP5 feels more solid and accurate. I agree that using the AK-74u is better for trying to shoot through walls, but overall I prefer the MP5 by a landslide.
