Seen 3 in my playing time. 2 with mombots and another with RPD getting headshots on everyone. Fortunately, I was on a clan server and they were promptly banned.

I must have bad luck. I would say I have ran into about 20 hackers. I would say 5 more I thought was hacking, but they still played like butt. Most of the hackers were doing the spam thing. Also we would change teams to watch them. So if I thought someone was hacking I would watch, tell admin. They would be kicked. A few times a person would be hacking with head shot after head shot. I kept killing him and still did better then him. I kept talking trash to him, and he got really pissed and left.

I love hackers, it makes me have to try harder. I still come out on top, or even. I would say the best thing is to used cooked nades. You can hide and throw, before they can kill you.

Can you guys impliment a rule that you can't talk about hacking, even if it's to complain about it?! :) These threads are getting as old as the "OMG! PB is stopping me from playing!!!1!!" :)

Do that son and you will get caught since your not only targeting a site but also a business which most likely has a license to operate on many levels..not to mention breaking a few different laws from the state level if in the US to the Federal scale...

actually sava, on another game I play our website was getting ddosed because we banned one of our members for something (not gonna get into detail) and we asked our admin if he could do anything about, and he said he could take no legal action, but could only ban the IP

Different laws for corporate companies/organisation - In a clan environment the admin would have been able to report the incident the individuals ISP where the ISP would carry out a little investigation and if they found the customer to be breaking their terms of service policies could have denied them access to their services. But hey! its off topic .

I'm sick of people whining about hackers. I've yet to see an obvious hacker in CoD4, and I only saw one in a year of BF2. Play on good servers and you'll never have to worry about it.

We've discussed it and modified rule 18 some time back (to a slightly different degree than what you're talking about).

18.3:

-Threads or posts accusing other members or players of using multiplayer cheating implements are not permitted unless reasonable evidence is provided along with the post. Reasonable evidence consists of demos taken in-game of the player or PunkBuster screenshots of the player in question. The Total Gaming Network Staff still retains final judgement as to whether a post or thread is acceptable according to this rule and reserves the right to delete any thread with questionable evidence.

Those threads usually wind up getting locked, and let's face it, no one likes their name being slandered.

But, it was decided that hacking is a large part of the multiplayer aspect of gaming, and players have the right to discuss it, but in a limited respect.

I don't want this to turn into how the TBF2 general discussion was, with every other thread being about this or that cheater, when the poster either did nothing to report it or had no proof.

Bottom line is a don't care about hacks too much in this game. I play almost always on servers that streams and have an admin. I have yet to see a hack that aims like they do in 2142. Which almost never miss. Also I think its funny how ppbans has way more people busted in cod4 then 2142. Don't get me started on QW. They busted over 30k in people damn!

Wow. I run into them all the time. I find it more of a challenge to kill them before they get me. Even though to them i have a fat SHOOT ME sign. Nothing big. Just leave to a new server. But sometimes it's funny to make fun of them.

Apart from the fact that a proper attack is so hard to track back it's not even worth the time, unless they lose millions of $, I don't think U.S. law applies where I live :p
Do you know how many websites are getting DDoS'd every day?

It's even more likely that they will kick their customer if the website he runs causes too much trouble :)
