Since when was BF2 a realistic shooter? The comparision holds no weight. BF2 in theory is all about all-around warfare in a rock-paper-scissor type of balance system.

Anyway. Theres nothing wrong with PR, nothing wrong with its Devs, nothing wrong with its players, so this thread as a whole fails.

As for realism and reality, I prefer my realism sims fun, which is why close quarters combat FPS games in realism settings are just so much better.

And where did i say bf2 was more like reality than PR, nowhere, so stop going off on one.

Like i said this is my personal opinion not a global decision. PR is perfect for people who enjoy that kind of game, ive already gone over that, your arguing over nothing chris?

I truly think, PR killed off the vBF2 players. They installed PR, hated it. and never went back to vBF2. I have no respect for the Creators / Players of PR. Cuz all they do is brag and brag and brag some more. 15mins for a jet? WTF.. Lets run across the map, get killed and then get killed by a n00b that dont know PR!! yea!!..no

Just because you find it boring, doesn't mean it is. For example, whilst i think Project Reality is damn boring, many people would think that doing marathon races on Gran Turismo 4 is epic sadness, but i love it.

So, you shouldn't judge people by what they play. If everyone was the same, it'd be a damn boring world.

So mr m3ow, where is your evidence to back this up may I ask? Now if what you are saying is true, then with every PR release we would see a huge decline strait after each release of PR in the overall BF2 player pop (that includes all mods btw) and do we, the awnser is no, we do not. the vBF2 pop has stayed at a more or less 20k players for all that time, and shows no drop or peak with each of our last 3 releases last year. Now I have not seen any players say they are quiting BF2 altogether cos they have played PR, not 1, thou I have seen 100s of players saying that they will keep BF2 on there hard drive only to play PR and lots have reinstalled it just for PR.

Now please back up the so called "brag and brag and brag" which according to you its "all they do"? I dont think you will find no posts of mine where I have said, or any other PR dev has said "vbf2 sucks ***!, PR is soo much better!". All we say is, "PR offers something diffrent from vBF2, vBF2 is still a good game its just not the type of gameplay we enjoy". Also if it was all we did, how would we ever make the mod? I can tell you I spend far more of my time making/playing PR then I do thinking about our next news posts we need to wright up for the our community/the BF2 community to inform them of what is going on with PR.

So as we have confirmed, you do not like PR, but dose that give you the right to bash PR? do I bash vBF2? no I do not.

now I cant speak for Waaha_ah but he dose not speak for the entire PR community, like you do not speak for the entire BF2 community otherwise the entire BF2 community would now be considered as players who can not back up anything they say and have no good reason to say what they have :p

Where do people keep getting this walking bull from? Take kashan for example, being a 4x4km map, you'd think it would take time, but the blackhawks are modified to move faster, the humvees can go offroading now, there are scout helicopters that can land and go within 5 seconds, the only real walking map is that one map with that bridge and water and alot of temples, played it once and got bored of the walking, but only once did I ever get bored in PR, except that time the brits were too afraid to attack the vehicle control point xD

Im in the crowd that hated PR. I really really wanted to like it. I prolly have 20 hrs playing the game. There are sooooo many things wrong with it. I understand the reality factor of the mod, but the whole thing felt like work, and not fun. Many times, I had to trudge the long walk across a map....rediculous. I could go on and on about all the stuff i disliked about it......I dont have that kinda time. Its a shame too, because they put alot of hours into making the durn thing.

I actually didnt like PR first time i tried it. Didnt read the manual, had no dea WTF i was doing, and i got owned pretty hard. Alot of features seemed unessessary at the time, just like the need to request a pilot kit to fly stuff, the warmup time on chopters, the fact that you had to be close to flags to request a kit etc. But after reading the manual and playing PR with a couple of good squads things started to make sence
