    We'll see about that :p

    Why no bombers or artillery.
No bombers cause it makes the air to ground much more balanced. There is artillery if you have noticed.

How could a low-flying slow-moving titan ever make any sort of military sense.
If you have read the ingame map descriptions you'll see that titans never were made for fighting purposes. They are simply huge transport platforms and the EU and PAC forces noticed they were great to transport large amounts of troops to the battlefield.

    And a walker? Never.
Why not? If you could make it stable enough to stand up and walk around it would be a killer against infantry (which it is).

Bah don't feel like replying any more to your post. Most of these "bad things" were made to improve balance.

It's all about the game play well - and I think EA/Dice have succeeded there. This is the most balanced and fun-to-play game in the BF series (I would rate BF2 Special Forces a close second)
    Indeed. SF was awesome.

Wouldn't there still be a problem in the fact that one hit to the legs causes the walker to collapse? Besides, helicopters and tanks give you all the anti-infantry you need.

With the walkers stepping ability it can maneuver through tight obstacles like fences and stuff, sure in real life a tank would just destroy them or drive over them though.

Well the walkers in BF2142 are very clumsy  If they were faster and more mobile the legs could be much better than wheels/tracks which makes it slow.

In real life sense, the railguns are placed in retarded places. I mean, come one, there's one with like 90 degrees up against a wall in Remagen. It's all about balance, if it wasn't placed there, people could take out armor in 3 outposts from one railgun.

Also, bombers would take too much fuel, isn't 2142 running out of fuel as well? (Or is that just Frontlines?)

Hmmm, and Frontlines also features climate change, oil depletion, West fighting East (WC&RSA/EU/PAC), and EMP technology....
