I like how some guns look more than others, but that doesn't influence how much I use that gun.

Aye, I dislike it for the very reason vika mentioned, if someone attacks you from the right, you can't bloody see them! Fat-gun-for-the-fail.

Hell, if a walker comes up to you on your right side, you can't bloody see it! The gun is louder, brighter and more bulky than the stock SCAR. Why would anyone willingly use it?

But really? What is wrong with the SCAR? Can't you create your own skin and use it in game like with Counterstrike?

If you really want the gun that bad, heres how you get it:

Aquire a picture you like of the gun, print it, then glue it to a pair of safety glasses(clear glasses), then if you hold your head just right it will look like you have the gun.

Ok seriously, why would you want the gun when the two unlocks(Voss & Baur) are better and more powerful then the afore mentioned gun?

More powerful? Not much.

Better? No, not necessarily. I do much better with SCAR/Krylov than with Voss. Baur is a different story :laugh:

I like the looks of the best buy SCAR but I think the "original" looks great as well.

I'm quite excited to try out that idea. And meh, disagree with what you said last but I can't be bothered to go through the whole "VOSS BAUR SCAR KRYLOV ONLY NOOBS USE THE SUDNIK WHEN THEY'RE 3 FEET UNDERGROUND" debate all over again. Any weapon is deadly in the right hands, provided you've got the training with the scar you can be just as lethal as a well trained Baur or Voss user. End of.

headshots ftw. any wapon will be good if you can shoot 2 headshots full auto(wich makes AR choise: krylov(higher rpm), scar-11(lol recoil),baur(high recoil), voss(to high devedation to hit the headshots).

I think the BAUR is the perfect gun for me. Second would be the Krylov, then the SCAR 11, which is awesome. And then the Voss, I don't know why I hate the Voss but just like the G36E in BF2 and the M4A1 in COD4. I just friggin hate guys who use it, I don't know why, but I just hate it.

It wasn't just "buy the game from BB," you had to pre-order and the little code you got in the pre-order box had to be entered under your account on the BF2142 website.

I got the pre-order and then won a free copy of 2142 from this here website (thanks! )

Personally, I don't see any reason NOT to release it the general public at this point. You'd be talking about a pretty HC minority of people who would complain.

1- Pre-order game from BB
2- Still actually playing 2142
3- Actually choose the Scar over the Baur or Voss
4- Care

I think the only reason I'm replying to this thread is because I couldn't help but laugh that this long after release, people are STILL talking about this gun.

Hrumph... You could mod this rifle in right? I don't see why you couldn't. I understand that you can't play on a ranked server with this, but all the files for the rifle are in your 2142 folder. All you would have to do is make a mini-mod that replaces the SCAR with the BOFORs. w/e

Yeah, I did it with the help of Dtneter. Doesn't work for online though as PB checks your client data.
