Sniping in BF3

How is it going to be done? Snipers in 1942 had a slow drift, don't know about Vietnam, BF2 had scopes absolutely still, and 2142 had up and down sway with scope stabilizers usable.

And healing/resupply, is it going to be BF2 style with packs, or 2142 with the hubs. Probably 2142-style as DICE is also taking elements from it like the combined classes.

Lol i found out 2 day that if ur sniping somethin 1000m away u have 2 take into account the spinning of the earth (1125 to 1450 kph) WOOO anyone else heard of that?? :)

yes its called the corialis effect (misspelt probably)

its kind of replicated in cod4 single player on the sniper shot mission,bullet appears to bend in flight.

anyways i hope they up the distance to 1000 m sniping ,ect no one shot kill stuff unless its a headshot of course

And yes, I've heard about this too. Bigger bullet drop amount. Also, the bullet gets slower over time, making it have increasing drop every second.

But would also greatly appreciate the thrill of killing noobs 1/2way across the map.

Dude, I watched another video where a guy was whining about lead contamination and range cleanup. But he hit a target at 2000m with one shot. Which is all you need with a fitty. :)

The "effect" in the singleplayer mission is due to wind, it has nothing to do with the earth spinning AFAIK.

What's the difference between that and the M82/107? M82 has 10 round magazines while AS50 only has 5. If the AS50 can fire faster than the M82, why not use the 10 round magazines from it, it's the same round isn't it?
