I sure wish that I could play a good game with my international Total friends. I have a hard time finding good people to game with besides my inner circle of friends.

The thing that Total is missing is running servers to support the forums they have. I understand that this is all possible because of MyIS and they are in business to rent servers, etc. But, I sure wish that there was a Total CoD4 server setup where we could all meetup.

Let me ask you European guys, do you have a decent connection to MyIS New York CoD4 servers? Here are 2 CoD4 IPs for you to check: 72.9.108.4, 72.9.108.6 if you can. Perhaps we might be able to meet up for a match every so often? (I say NY because I'm on the other side of the US and that's pretty much in the middle)

Any East Coast server owner(s) would care to see if this would work out? Or, is this just a pipedream?
I'll check out later how's my ping there... Im gonna report back bit later...

East Coast should be about 110-130, not too bad.

Thanks Vika (and you other dudes, too!) for the support, unfortunately it looks like I must have needed some drama today... Sorry for that guys.

I'm obviously having problems staying away since I've been on these boards for most of the day. So, chalk-up what I was saying earlier to frustration. I'll try to manage that a little better next time.

So i tried to connect both of them and

            72.9.108.4 gives me connection timeout
            72.9.108.6 says: wrong password...

Sorry, those are the only IPs given by MyIS for testing. http://www.myinternetservices.com/gaming/servers/cod

Anyone have other IPs in New York or New England we could check? I suppose those would be better than say, Virginia. I think the wonderful Internet tubes invented by Al Gore provide a better connection from New England states than further south. Someone correct me if my assumptions are wrong.

I meant to do this earlier, but thanks for the willingness to work with us all on this Alex! You're appreciated for that.

I know these that the duties of a mod can be boring and thankless most of the time... many of us are here because Total has some of the best (if not the best) forums for gaming. So, thanks for being attentive and responsive and helping to keep the community alive and thriving. :salute:

I must admit i feel the same way as Sonic and feel i will be doing the same, the topics are getting very samey around here far too quickly.

But then it is a forum and i know things are going to be discussed more than once, but some of the threads recently have just been full of flaming i really dont know why i bother coming here to read them.

Though it is true, there are more things to do around here than just post topics.

i totally agree, a TCoD4 event would be awesome, it just depends what to do as we all know pings from all TCoD4 players vary from 20 - 2000 :p
