Less than 1 KDR? This is a biased thread, similar to the "post your results on this IQ test" or "what's your GPA?": you won't see people on the lower side very often.

For what it's worth 1 - 1.5 is pretty average. I rarely see anyone exceeding that on the scoreboards... so we're all in the same boat.

In general, once you reach level 55, your K/D ratio will be above 1. Not for everyone of course but for most. By that time, you've played the game for enough hrs to get the hang of it, and how to best use the different weapons (sometimes your K/D takes a hit when you're trying out new weapons and such along the way).

I'd wager most of the people who post on this forum regularly are near/at lvl 55 and/or are decently skilled at the game have a >1 K/D.

i have a 1.31 KD ratio with 23% of my kills headshots, i blame this on the fact i have been going for all the headshot challenges recently.

So far i have completed all the SMG, Sniper and Assault challenges bar the MP44, so that alone is a good majority of the 20% of my head shot kills.

Im starting to go for the head more naturally now, but in this game it just seems so random to me.

Say, if youre purposefully going for the head, are there any obvious positive effects?

EDIT: In the long run, I mean. Both in average KDR and change of game style, for example.

I am purposefully always going for the head now if the enemy is at range because i know, one or two hits and i have the kill and another headshot to the tally.

I have not managed to get my mind into going for the headshots at CQC as of yet.

I mainly use the M16 so I don`t aim for the head. I aim for the torso and the recoil will do the rest.

Well Im not going to post my IQ, but my KDR is just 0.69

K/D = 2324 / 3380 = 0.69
Assists = 628
Headshot = 362

So I have 16% headshots.
