I can appreciate that you wish to keep things simplistic, but it's actually multifactorial. Don't be so quick to take a sh*t on your air support because they go at it lonewolf style.

    You lost me at multifactorial:laugh:

I don't want to start a posting debate sloi all because your missing the point and I'm not one for typing tbh, lets just put it down to you and me disagreeing on this one.:salute:

Think about it. If the other team's jets, choppers, tanks, APCs, and cars are useless because of my helicopter, and my team still gets capped out, it's not "my fault"

A helicopter shouldn't go around capping flags. If my team can't cap flags without pressure from the other team, there's something desperately wrong. If we have 4 tanks, APCs, jets, and cars, and the other team has infantry, we shouldn't lose the ground game.

You're just an idiot. I guess this whole thing is too complex for you to follow.

Retarded reply from a retard. Can't expect much more.

I nullified your theory so you just whine because you know I'm right.

Infantry have great ways of taking out armor on their own. Sure air support is nice to have, but a chopter cant kill every piece of armor on the map.

Btw, ts better to have good infantry squads on the ground than to have a couple skilled pilots in the air

PS: Is it just me or are all of these "l33t chopter pilots" a bunch of twats...?

It's easier to be condescending when you're right.

Ive had my fair share of games when I literally work my as5 off in the air, only to see that my team on the ground is hopelessly outskilled, or they are engaging in a god knows what.

For example. After keeping the helo, 2 jets and all of the armor at bay on Oman, Im only left shocked when all of the flags are capped by infantry, and our USMC guys are inviting people to a knife fight at the orchard...

                      Holy sh!t...

Idiots are everywhere. Condescending infantry twats are no different than condescending air whores.

                          ...

Then some infantry player, who hasnt had a look at the minimap, wakes up and starts cursing at me for raping the uncap, which I havent touched for once...

"DO YOUR JOB AIR WH0RE!!! WHERE THE FORK IS OUR AIR SUPPORT!!!"

But its good to be in the air, solo, lonewolf it out. You know that in situations like this, you can still have a fairly good game. The positives far outweight the negatives.

Do this continuously and you will see how those armors and choppers will get eliminated. If you do this, your ground pounders will not even need UAV or artillery support as jets and especially choppers will eliminate everything you've spotted.
Going back to the first post... the commander spotting everything possible helps everyone, not just those in the air. Just do not spot anything while they are the "fuzzy red dot" after the scan. While it reports "Enemy tank spotted" etc, the tank or whatever, does not show up on the map for the rest of the team. The commander has to remember where all the "fuzzy red dots" are, wait until they completely fade from the scan, and only then will they stay on the map and be visible to the rest of the team when spotted. This does make it awkward when trying to spot the enemy aircraft.

It shows up for the rest of the team. You have to be within 550m of the actual object for it to show up on your minimap.

When there is a jet or heli (or both, or even 4) destroying everything visible on the other side, and your team still loses, you really should consider donating your BF2 key to someone who won't abuse it.
