You can do a 3 round (kind of) burst with the mouse ? Say you got the MP5, you just hold down the mouse, until 3 rounds come out. That simple. The ROF isn't changed in the script, just click once and 3 come out. Same as if you held the mouse down until 3 came out of the clip.

It's no cheat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

Maybe they wanted to try and keep the game balanced! Why is the g3 full auto in SP but not in MP?

It's cheating. Modifying content on your end to allow the game to do something it wasn't intended to do is cheating. Setting fire to your mouse scroll is not cheating, because you can still only fire the gun as fast as you can scroll, which isn't any faster than I can left click.

How would you like it if someone made a script that allowed the barret to be full auto and ran around using it like a machine gun? Or created a script that allowed the RPD or M60 to fire at ten times their standard rate and just ripped through everything standing.

It modifies game content on your end, and unbalances the game in your favor, that's the definition of cheating, plain and simple.

I agree with The_Eliminator. It is after all a script that allows you to do something that you can't with the "bare" game.

Interesting proposition Scinto.

On the same line of thought, I could set up my G15 keyboard to hold my breath everytime I put a scope to my eye. Which would give me an unfair advantage.

As would setting up "setpoint" to implement full auto fire on a semi auto weapon.

It would be hardware instead of scripting, giving the advantage.

Having both, myself I would prefer to play legit.

It all comes down to integrity and character.

scripts are lame. i use my finger for automatic fire from all semi auto weapons for cqc and last stand pistol kills. i have two problems. if i move my finger in the wrong place on the mouse button, it doesn't work correctly and ends up being slower. my finger will start to hurt after awhile from the fast movement if i do it too much.

At least when scrolling the mouse wheel you actually activate every shot by yourself.
Scripts are at least dodgy and from all I've seen people who use scripts will more likely start using hacks too.

TBH Any software, hardware, script or hack that changes the way the game is meant to run is unfair. Auto clickers and all that. Soon everyone will have auto clickers using the g3 on full auto and then soon enough all semi auto weapons will be auto firing and then the game will be completely un-balanced. The game is set up perfectly, anything that effects the balance of the guns or the game is wrong.
