As you may or may have not known there has recently been a stats outage, mine started on the first, what a great way to welcome in the new year. Some people arent affected, others are missing parts, and some like me, are completely blacked out. EA better not come back with the 2000 points and a gold star ******** like they did in BF2, I've had some of my best rounds in a while these past few days.

haha, everyone always has their best rounds when the stats are out.
Just take it on the chin, the systems will go down once in a while, it's a fact of life. You can't just solve a problem by throwing money at it, so it's likely to be a complex problem.
It's only really been out 3 times for long periods, so it's not that bad. -

Take advantage of it while you can! I found out about the stats outage after I had the best Friday night 2142 session ever and nothing showed up, but I am not upset about it. I earned my Engineer Silver (500 points), Recon Silver (500 points), and Meritorious ribbon (500 points). I also had 3 consecutive rounds of commander over 100 points after watching those CptainCrunch vids on how to be a commander. All in all, about 8 rounds played.
The "good" thing about the stats outage is that you keep your points and unlocks! On Saturday night, I was playing Engineer again and was shocked to see my player awarded 500 points again for the Engineer Silver. So when I was playing tonight, I thought... "wonder what will happen if I play recon again?". I played Camp Gib and was just awarded my Recon Silver for the second time in as many nights. Another 500 points, and my next unlock!
Man, I hope this takes them a few more days to fix. I am way more interested in the unlocks than the Leaderboard, so I am going to keep trying to get either Silver every night until it is fixed. Too bad I don't have enough hours as Supply to go for that silver as well, and I already had the Assault silver (gold may be slightly beyond my abilities, and if I ever do get it, that is one I will want to keep). It looks like any badge you can get AFTER the stat outage you can keep getting over and over. Anything you had before is unattainable. Good timing for me, and you can't call me a stat-padder cause I am just playing the game! Muahahahahaahahahhaha <evil laugh>
So my advice? Go for any badge or ribbon you can get which gives you the most reward. I don't know if you have to join a different server in order to get it twice in one night (I have never done that), but if there is one which is attainable, I advise you to try to get it every night until the stat problem is fixed.

Its no worse than the private glitch... Across my two soldiers, I have probably gotten my Legion of Merit (2000 Points) 20+ times. Hey, if you aren't a General then by all means, exploit this weekend to its fullest! If EA doesn't like it, maybe they will concentrate more on keeping their stats servers up.Comment

Im getting my stats .......when all of u said the stats where on a black out then i got on 2 2142 and started playing and then i found that i got a badge at the end of the round and it was in my BFHQ :)Comment

I think people are getting their stats, but just slowly.
Sounds like maybe some of the stats servers have gone out, and a lot of players are being held up as they are all being forced into the remaining servers for processing.Comment

Ah, well after using all of my unlocks on the other kits, I have found much to my surprise that Support is the best of the kits. If you have all 10 Support unlocks (including the two NS), you have an incredibly powerful soldier who will never run out of ammo. You can singlehandedly take out a Titan if it is undefended or lightly defended. You can't do that with any other kit, you run out of ammo after only two consoles. With Support and the RDX shotgun, you can simply stand there until it blows (I have read it only takes 11 shots). Plus you can equip the IDS to detect enemy soldiers, and set up a sentry in the hallway to take them out.
The default machine gun has 200 rounds in the magazine, if you burst fire, you virtually never have to reload in the middle of a firefight. And running around with your Ammo hub out, or simply getting into any transport vehicle, is by far the easiest way to get resupply/teamwork points towards Support, Resupply, Squad Leader sucess, Distinguished, Meritorious, and Valorous unit ribbons.
Support kicks a$$, and I wish I had unlocked it first instead of being like every other noob, and going Assault.
