doesn't vista have a lot of problems with games and compatibility issues with hardwares? i mean it was tough enough getting BF2142 to run right on winXP. anyone else worried that we're headed for rocky road with the next one as far as stability is concerned? it is EA/DICE we're talking about afterall...

Most Vista problems has been solved by Microsoft by now, game problems are generally caused by older games not designed for Vista. But I see your point here, BF2142 gives me mixed feelings cause I really love the gameplay and such but it's a buggy little piece of **** at the same time
Hope DICE/EA make something much stabler and with much less bugs.Comment

Sounds quite promising actually, but then again, so did BF2 and BF2142. Lets see then;

48 different vehicles on 8 maps? Wonder what role aircraft will play in a "mostly urban" setting?
Will feature 34 different weapons (17 for each faction) and another 22 unlocks (for both factions), in total 56 different weapons.
Probably only 10 of which are available out of box, the other 46 would come in booster packs.
Other unlocks include different types of ammunition, body armor, helmets, camouflage and accessories.
This would be good. Incendiary ammo FTW!
Online stats tracking, awards and “real world ranks”
What's new. How would the BF2 ranks compare with these "real world ranks"? Will the awards be easier or harder to get than BF2142?

One could argue, that if really everything is made up, DICE or EA would deny any of it. Not "No Comment". Anyway, vincentj said one thing which is true: Do we or do we not see an announcement and a teaser trailer in January 2008.
I do hope we will. It'd probably be the next game I buy. BF just kicks ***.
