Question For Snipers

Alright,
I find myself doing this a lot. I love sniping, and I'm better than most at it. I normally (not always) play well with it in a round, but, this feeling always comes back.

So I find myself running low on ammo, and I pick up an enemy's gun. I'm not sure what it is, but when I find myself with an AR of any type, I can normally roll through a decent amount of enemies. Maybe this is because I'm used to forcing myself to be accurate, but I'm not sure.

Anyways, after playing a whole round without using a sniper rifle, I fell in love. It's the feeling you get while sniping where you want to go and clear entire rooms out, where you want to be right in the action, etc.

Do any of you snipers get that same feeling - wanting to get into the heat of the battle? And do you snipers find yourselves to actually be good with an AR?

I got two sniper kits,

HC Sniper
N Sniper

HC for hardcore N for normal..

Hardcore I carry a M40 + M4/RD. I use overkill, since 1 shot 1 kill.. a AR is great if your bored of sniping, or you can over runned.

Normal, just a sniper, extra ammo, stopping, iron lungs.

I fine with not being in the heat of battle. Id rather stay where I am doing my counter-sniper duties, and picking off the winner of those mini scenarios you call battles.

I never use snipers myself, but I love to hunt them :)

Rarely, I don't tread in obvious/open spaces

I just camp, and if im outta ammo i stalk someone, then when they find a place and stop ill type 'behind u' and they might turn round and uf they do ill stab em or if they dont ill put a claymore behind them as a little present.

I find picking somebody off far away just as enjoyable as spraying everybody to bits with a Mini-Uzi. :)

especially if it is a headshot and people are near the person that get shot and they look round for you, then you pick em off

well i personally think im pretty good with the sniper rifles and the assault rifles, i have yet to be sniped whilst i myself am sniping.

I only limit myself to snipe on certain maps so i mix and match it up a little.

Speaking of heat of battle, anyone of you encountered a Blackhawk Down sniper moment yet? You're all alone behind cover, 10+ Enemies running towards you guns blazing. You panic, but still able to take out 6+ of them, then die.

Then again, I wouldn't call it an honorable death if I knew that I got nade spammed by watching Kill Cam.

I just started enjoying sniping tonight because I unlocked the Barret 50.cal. It's better than I expected. What are your guy's classes with it?

When CoD came out, i was all about sniping...

But now i have started to use all the guns bit more...

But i have 2 sniper kits,

What ever gun i feel like using, stopping power, deep impact, and bandolier...

i haven't got the overkill perk yet.

but i always drop my pistol for another weapon (not bothered what it is)

i like to have something else to back me up when relocating(i relocate alot)

i may try the overkill perk when i get it,but the extra ammo could also be handy i tend to run out of sniper ammo from time to time,

but it fun stalking for ammo(sometimes i stand near a team mate that is sniper and hope he gets killed so i can have there ammo :)

I hate it when you are in a row, and you run out of all ammo and you have to sprint across the map to find ammo...
