I dont know really. Considering all of this epic fail, I cant help but think that hes still the president of the US of A. So theres definitely more than meets the eye. The media doesnt help either. I swear, if there was a cameraman behind my every move, youd "lol" at how clumsy I can be.

lol, thats like saying that the US would only bomb the russians if the cold war ever turned into WW3. The MEC in BF2 are a "fictional conventional army", ie, by conventional army that means they have there own jets, tanks, etc etc that they can fight back with, not just some random insurgent group with afew technicals and RPGs.....

Yeah, and we bomb the piss out of conventional armies. That's why the only people who have given us any real trouble have been guys wearing street clothes and using their children as shields.

As far as realism in jets, this is just a silly game. That's like complaining that the guy in Lethal Weapon fired 18 rounds before reloading a weapon that holds 15+1 bullets. It's temporary suspension of disbelief. About your pilot's license, I'm a former U.S. Army paratrooper and you don't see me whining about how unrealistic it is for a guy to be able to open a chute at a height of 12ft. Or the fact that these guys jump with chutes that are made to bring you down at an average of 22ft/sec but they don't have to PLF. And they aren't stunned for about 5-10 seconds after landing. It's a game. It's entertainment. People are expected to suspend their disbelief in order to have fun.

Bf2 is a "semi-realistic" game, wich is why it is so fun for most ppl. Most of aspects in Bf2 are unrealistic, but when you use some common cense you can figure out how stuff work,(bullet drop applies at distance, tanks can take more shots to the front than to the rear, etc) but jets are beyond unrealistic. You dont have to land to rearm or repair, your missiles are almost useless against other jets, the jet has a smaller turn radius when you fly fast than when you fly slow, F35 can suddently go three times as fast if it flyes at 800 meters instead or 200, AA barely hurts jets, etc.

Also, the OP said that jets in Bf2 are really unrealistic. And he is f*cking right! If you are denying that then you must be completely retarded.
